Thanks Martyn. Looks like the seller has divvied up the two figures into separate auctions.

Hi Brad, actually a number of figures in that set, I have a single what looks like ol Free French Flute player.

Hi Brad and Tom

The original catalogue description reads

OLD SOLDIERS OF THE QUEEN - MK11

We have had so many requests to replace Set C1 that we now offer the MK11 set

The four piece street band - "OLD SWEATS" - busking for their living on the streets

A one armed chap plays the Cornet, the fellow with the concertina is obviously Ex-Catering Corp, his companion with the banjo appears to have left the Queen's service intact, the same can't be said for the fellow rattling the collection box - did he leave his leg in Khartoum or Kabul?

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,
Your are right: this set is a replacement for older C1 set.
I enclosed its picture.

Martyn the four lying dead Zulu figures are Cliff Sanderson figures. They could be painted kit figures by Hinchliffe or ANI glossies. Thanks for sharing the info....Joe

Someone has just listed a Citadel piper figure made by Maison Militaire on eBay which I would probably buy if I didn't already have two. One thing I noticed, however, is that compared to the ones I have the painting, as far as I can tell, is not as good: the right eye seems like just a dot and the figure looks like it's wearing lipstick.

It's gone Brad, was it a "Buy it Now" sale

Maybe he is don,t ask and don,t tell

I took a look at the picture of the Citadel "bad" piper sold at eBay for $104. Quality is terrible in my view in compare to originals. I guess we all might need to thank owner of Maison Militaire for NOT mass producing Trophys from the castings he got from Len. ^&grin
Just my 2 cents.
