Martyn,

Am I correct ? This figure is from the Trophy BB set Front Rank. Reload !

Raymond.:)

You are quite correct Raymond. I have the set and I know Mike (1879fanatic) has a set also. Back in the "good ole days" I also managed to get a single figure from Len;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,

Thanks for the confirmation. It is indeed a unique figure.

There is currently a Trophy figure listed on EBAY as Private Cole.

This figure looks exactly like a figure I have made by Little Legion for Toy Soldiers & Model Figure. The figure I have came in a Brown Box with William King on the top of the box, the figure has Little Legion marked on the base and the name of the figure listed on the box is Private Cole.

I will post a picture of the figure and box tonight. The seller says it does not have a mark on the bottom of the base.

Does anyone have this figure by Trophy or any information on the figure.

Brian

Quite right Mike, looks like LL

Martyn:)

Your both right My Aide de Camp and Martyn he's not Trophy and your right again Martyn he's a Little Legion figure created by Mike Norris for the Special Edition Collection figures offered by Toy Solldier & Model Figure. I knew I had seen the figure before and confirm it. He appears in the Dec. 2001 issue 43 along with others of the collection limited to 500 and retailed for 17.50 Lbs UK and $35.00 US plus shipping quite pricey back then.

Here are the pictures as promised, the label is blurry, sorry.

The figure is Priavte Cole at Rorke's Drift. He was killed by Zulu Rifle fire.
It is a Little Legion figure.
It was only available from TMF magazine.
I bought one back in 1998-1999.

There are two Sudan artillery sets on ebay now and a cool Western set.

Hi Martyn,

The Trophy Wild West Rough Justice Set went for $100.50 which is reasonable.

Hi Raymond

That does seem to be a bargain for the “Rough Justice” set, the original price in 1998 was £68.95

The prices of Artillery sets in 1998 was £72.40 and these were the later models, the 2 sets just sold were both earlier 1980/1990’s sets

The AZW and the Sudan sets seem to be at a premium.

Hi Damian

You are quite right there, one single Dervish figure with a loose arm recently sold for £33.70:eek:

Cheers

Martyn:)
