Ray Donovan (1 Viewer)

well...I hope Ray knocks the smirk off his face with his Louisville slugger...between the cops...the firemen...and this guy...Ray has been getting some serious beat downs...

......Rays been in tight spots before, but things are looking pretty grim for him right now, especially after last weeks episode.

He's losing friends and family faster than a robbers dog........{eek3}

Ray gets hit in the head more often than an NFL linebacker. Perhaps he should consider a career-change, maybe something in the food industry or waste management. Trouble-shooter just doesn't seem to be working for him. In fact, the whole Donovan clan should shift their attentions and stay the heck out of the fight business.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Al...
yea...
Bunchy took a bad beat down...
Terry got beat so hard he just shakes now...
Ray is getting worked over twice an episode lately...
if you watched the upcoming episode previews...
Ray gets pounded some more next week...
can't wait though...
about time for Mickey to get a good beat down...
if anyone deserves one...^&grin

This last episode sets up an interesting dynamic for Ray and Mickey. Mickey literally saved Ray's life while they were trying to rescue Bridgett. The question is, once she is rescued will Ray help Mickey as Mick is now an escaped fugitive who is wanted by the FBI? In fact he is in prison because Ray put him there.

This should be interesting.............

They say bloods thicker than water, but Rays relationship with Micky may be the exception? Lets face it Mickey's like a bad smell that just won't go away!

Love him or hate him, he's a fun character though and has this amazing talent of being able to pop up all over the place at the right (or wrong) time.

The rescue of Bridgett is going to get messy, with one dodgy cop dead, one tied up in the trunk of a car and the mad Irish one still on the loose.

I feel sorry for Bunchy, nothing seems to go right for him. He's got to be one of the most unlucky blokes on the telly.

Maybe at the end of it Ray will do another deal with the Feds to get Bunchy out by offering Mickey up?

I think it all speaks to the creativity of the show and its genius plot lines. The show is perfectly cast and written.

As my mom used to say, "She is rude, crude, and unattractive." Aunt Sandy fits right in. ^&grin -- Al

She'd be great to get on the Turps with and would most likely drink everyone under the table........{eek3}

Great Character and don't you just love her laugh.{sm2}

Nice wrap up. Glad to see the Samantha character hanging in there. Bridgette's new motto is 'one of us...one of us'. Even Lena got something to be pleased with. What a family... {eek3} -- Al

The old girl with the chainsaw just cracked me up^&grin

Great ending to another great season.

I really enjoyed the "new" characters this season, especially the addition of Alan Alda. Even though he only had a small role it was great to see him back on TV!

Now what am I going to watch on Sunday night?????
I will be in the same boat. Waiting for Feb.10 and the return of TWD. Maybe I'll hit Netflix and catch up on something or another while waiting.^&confuse -- Al

Jason/Al...I'm missing me some Ray Donovan too...I feel in love with that show from the start...I think it was the second episode where Ray caught the Peeping Tom that was stalking his female friend...and asked..."whether he wanted the bag or the bat"...he answered the bag and Ray painted him green from head to toe...I guess that was better than the bat...but my favorite episode was when Terry was incarcerated and the Aryian brotherhood was messing with him...especially the one guy that kept calling him a "ding"...he finally pulled his shaky butt together and gave the guy a major beat down with a barbell to his face screaming the whole time..."Who's the ding now."...as he pounded the guy unconscious...great series...Showtime hit a home run with this one...

Mike:

The guy who plays Terry (Eddie Marsan) is an extremely underrated actor. Unfortunately the cast of Ray Donovan is so deep his performance often gets lost.

He was great as Shimon Peres in 7 Days in Entebbe. It is worth a watch on a Sunday night now that there is no Ray Donovan, football season is over baseball has not started. ^&grin

Jason...
he's an accomplished actor...
my first recollection of him was as one of the dwarfs in Snow White and the Huntsman...
which was a total stinker of a movie that I watched only to see Ian McShane...
I have "White Boy Rick" in my Netflix que...
he's in that...
