Another episode not lacking in violence. I sure hope the Donovan boys realize that they are gonna pay for all these little physical problems when they reach Mick's age (who has his own physical problem I wouldn't wish on my enemy:rolleyes2:), so they better get a good retirement medical plan, assuming any of the trio make it to retirement age.:wink2: -- Al

You're concerning me AL.............sounds like we're building up to a very big finale with loads of blood and the usual cliff hanger.{eek3}

Just one episode left and I really don't like what Ray just pulled off, even if it does allow a great story line, providing the writers don't wuss out. Ray, what have ye become? -- Al

Ray seems to have turned a corner, but then again he's never been that hot on his Dad. Would be good to learn exactly what his Pop did to him and his brothers back in the day and if it had anything to do with their sister taking her own life?

Will be a big season finale no doubt.

I wondered whether the childhood trauma had anything to do with the stove burners that Ray was fixated on. Did Mick burn his kids somehow? I'm sure we'll find out eventually. Meanwhile, Mick's rather ominous threat hangs heavy and I am sure will be a great story line going forward. -- Al

Uh oh...I don't think Ray's therapy is working, not at all. -- Al

The series finale was pretty good, the end reminded me of end of The Bourne Ultimatum movie.

Does anyone know when season 6 will premiere?
I've heard nothing about the start date, but it has to be relatively soon as August seems to be their go-to date for new seasons. I read somewhere that the show will be centered in NYC this season. -- Al

I recall seeing promos for the other seasons around the 4th of July but so far I have not seen anything for season 6?

August 1 and still not promos or even a premiere date from Showtime?

Maybe the new season starts in September?

Watched the season premier last night and it was good to see nothing has changed. Ray is still getting beat up on a regular basis and his job has once again dropped him in 'it'. Mickey is still up to his old tricks, Bunchie is still a mess, etc. Good show even if no real surprises. -- Al

Al:

It looks like it is going to be a great season!

I like the fact that the show sticks to its formula. It works as far as I am concerned.

6.1 was a good episode...very good start to a new season...really like the addition of Domenick Lombardozzi...from HBO's The Wire...
