Definitely not a rare figure, but he has so much character that I had to have him.
This is Barbarian w/Shield and Winged Helmet, swinging Axe (on freeform base) from AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection #6204

And now for the fairer sex. This is Russian Girl Carrying Water from Sphere. This is my first purchase from them. I liked the piece and decided to give it a whirl. I know absolutely nothing about it. It was $65 and I felt worth the gamble. Taking price into account I think it's a well done piece. If this was the same price as other St. Pete's figures, I think I would have been disappointed. Just doesn't rise to the quality of many of the others. You make the call....

"Generally" speaking I have a major issue with this collection - I can't help myself!

Arriving over the weekend were these civil war generals! If anyone wants a close up of any, let me know. I was too lazy (common theme) to take individuals!

They are (not in order):
Gen. James Longstreet Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 0102
Gen. George McClellan Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 0115
Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection 205
Gen. Joseph Hooker Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 122
Gen. George Pickett AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection 3829
Gen. Joseph Johnson Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 116
Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman seated Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 108

Zach, who are the figures on the extreme left and right. I don't have those.

These arrived today from one of our (don't know if he wants to be known). Neither of us know the manufacturer. They are 90mm and I am quite pleased with them. He didn't have Stalin, so I will just pretend that Stalin had to go use the can while these two continued the meeting
(sorry for the garbage picture quality - it's even worse since I just made fun of Louis B. for his! :redface2:)

I don't mind being identified ^&cool

I got this piece knowing that it was broken. Even with the damage, i am very happy with it.
It is The Confederate Horse Artillery Unit from Grudsky Studio / St. Petersburg Collection Catalog# 3823

Nice set. Treefrog had it, right? I would offer to have Mike fix it, but I'd be worried about shipping.

Lastly, yes, you are out of control! {eek3}

How about some photos of your collection.

Brad

And finally, and to me, best of the new lot, we have

Praetorians Lose an Imperial Eagle - 86 AD* From AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection #6311
I have seen this one on the AeroArt website for months and could never figure out why I wasn't buying it. Well, now that it has arrived, I REALLY don't know why I wasn't buying it. I love this thing! Unfortunately for these guys, The EAGLE HAS LANDED!

On the extreme left is #205 Gen William Tecumseh Sherman (based on who I got it from. It's not in the book, so haven't been able to confirm) I know the seated figure is Sherman too, that's why I am not sure.

On the right is #3829 Gen George Pickett

When you say photograph my collection, you mean all of it? Like in the "collections" part of the forum?

I don't think the one on the left is Sherman; it doesn't look anything like him.

On your collections, yes, in the Collections section, as you've amassed a pretty big collection by now.

That was my feeling too. If somehow you find out who it is, let me know.

I'm heading to the Green Mountains of VT for the weekend, but when I get back I'll take some pictures of everything and share! This must be genetic b/c my mother started collecting her Imperial and Trophy civilians and she too is out of control!!! haha

I love the Roman vignette Zach. That's a heck of a pick up! Great pics and a mighty fine acquisition. Congrats!
