I am gonna make a diorama for my JJD Fur Trade series...
teepees...log cabins...river with canoes...all the JJD canoes with Frenchies work perfect for that...
I figured a lot of Mountain Men died chasing bears and beavers...
not to mention the harsh climate and Indians...
so I made an "Undertaker" shop...

Yes you have all the ‘trappings’ Mike to make a terrific little mountain setting. Robin.

Mike that is superbly well-done, and you picked a great series to do.

Mike,

Your roof shingles are very realistic, as is, the entire building. Can't wait for the rest.

Steve

Nicely made building Mike.

I love the "clean water extra" on the Hot Bath sign! ^&grin

Stay safe mate

Martyn:)

Undertaker, ... going to make some coffins for display or being built outside the building like in the Clint Eastwood movie (forget the name off hand,) where the undertaker guesses his measurements as he rides into town?

Nice building there.

Glenn

Mike,

I have always been impressed with your talents. You've posted a good many works of yours on this forum over the years. This building is not only a wonderful piece but it demonstrates your creative talents in so many ways!!! Such detail and what a great story line behind it.

I am jealous because when I want a building or something to use in a dio, I have to wait for one of the manufacturers to make it. You, on the other hand, can just whip up whatever needed whenever you want. You boggle my mind.....and no doubt the minds of many others here on TF.

Thanks for sharing this and I can't wait to see the dio in its completed state.

Mark

Love the sign, ‘clean water extra’, very funny. This makes a great piece to incorporate into the series. Robin.
