Wow Rev absolutely fantastic
Hello Mark,This is one of your best, Mark. Great transition of fore- to background, excellent overlay of the figure bases and good color. And that is just the technical aspect. Good composition. In my opinion, the birdseye pictures are the weakest and the last photo is hence my favorite. The only critical comment I would have is that some of the pictures look “empty” - more a reenactment than war. The reason is that I would expect much more activity around a battery of guns. There have been plenty of discussions on the forum of how many individuals are generally needed to man a gun and that generally manufacturers fall short in providing the exact number. Beyond that, a second gun and crew might be fun …. Horses in the background?
Hello Mark,
I agree with this review of this amazing diorama that you have posted for us to enjoy. That the statement that some the picture look empty on the birds eye pictures was kind of what I also thought when I reviewed them. Maybe if there would have been another gun or some infantry support would have really made your diorama look more like a battle scene. Regardless it is another great composition and the smoke was a great idea also.
Thanks
Howard

Brilliant! I really like the smoke effects seen in the last couple photos. Very realistic
I have included a couple old digital pics of mine (from 2007) of cannons firing at a Civil War reenactment in my area. Obviously the wrong period and type of cannon, but REVWARBUFF achieved similar-enough effect in miniature!
