HeHee Cheeky Aussi,:p:D.......nice one Wayne mate, yeah its a blow for the AB's, but the Wallabies have been hit hard with injuries too. It's going to make things a little more interesting now i think:wink2:

We certainly know whose playing the quarter finals now. The outcome for the England/France clash is anyones guess as neither team has preformed well so far and it seems to me its only the Irish who are playing with real fire in their belly's at this stage.{sm2}

Yeeha roll on the quarter finals.^&grin

If I was a betting man my money would be on the welsh to win there quarter final against ireland . The ABs to beat argentina
The Boks to beat Aus and England to beat France .

Damian

I'll take the wager on the ice cream - England to beat France :smile2::smile2::smile2:

Gazza

The thing is that when it comes to France previous form etc means nothing. You really have to see what you get on the day. Ask NZ about that.
I stil think that they have the chutzpah to be the only team ever to get to the finals after losing two pool matches. It is just the way they are.

Mmmm, interesting selections mate.{sm2} Yeah these next games are going to be close. The Welsh/Irish match will be tight and I don't see much in it based on present form. The AB's should win ok, but Argentina will take it to them up front so ball handling skills will be the key.

The Boks/Aussi game will be a classic encounter with both fairly evenly matched, especially considering the injuries they both have, as for the Brit/France clash, the English have a nack at winning by a whisker; however the French have this amazing ability to play like men possessed and throw the ball about, so again it's going to be close.

Regardless all four matches should be good watching.....looking forward to the weekend.:D

I never take anything for granted in knockout football , but Argentina have never beaten the AB,s and managed one draw
so I think it is the safest bet of the quarter final match ups .
The other games will be much closer imo .

I think the Boks are still the team to beat as they are the current holders,
so the rest of us are trying to take their crown .
regardless some top games coming and luckily both the best quarters match ups imo Aus/SA and Wales/ Ireland are
in Wellington [the with is pretty S*&^ at present so hopefully that improves in time]

australia has to beat the Springboks first. I would not go making any assumptions either way just yet.
