SAS Rogue Heroes (1 Viewer)

Been watching and really enjoying this show. Watched E-5 last night and I think it was the last one, currently. Without spoiling for everyone, it ended on a natural dividing line and Season 2 will have a defined starting point (assuming, of course, that there is a Season 2). Last night's #5 was a corker. -- Al

For people in North America, what have you been watching this show on? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Watched the first four episodes. Enjoyed it though some liberties taken with the figures as previously mentioned. Jock Lewes' finance, Mirren, later married and had a son. He published a book of their love letters in 1995. A little unseemly to me, cashing in on his mother's romantic interests.

Had dinner with some SAS types in the SAS club in London in the late 80s. It was an interesting evening. Chris

I just finished watching the first series and greatly enjoyed it. Does anyone know if BBC intends on pursuing this series beyond the initial six episodes?

I'm pretty sure that they have green lighted a 2nd season.

I'll be stapling my eyelids to my eyebrows so I won't miss a second.

Has a Quentin Tarantino production feel about it. I don't mind the modern rock music.
I'm a big fan of the N. Africa campaign and the old '60s Rat Patrol series, so I think this is pretty cool.
Realism, perhaps not so much, but definitely entertaining with lots of grit, explosions, and shoot 'em ups.
Thanks for the info guys, will be looking out for the DVD.

I agree, it does have a Quentin Tarantino feel about it, but with a stiff upper lip British feel, except other chaps were likely to get the stiff. Why does every new Movie and TV series have to push 'diversity'. I liked seeing the old army vehicles etc, although there were some inaccuracies and the battle scenes weren't very realistic. Hopefully the series will improve.
