Silence is Golden (1 Viewer)

The heavy foliage really makes this so realistic. I worked with a SF SgtMajor who told of ambushes he setup that must have looked like this. Chris

These are some outstanding photos Steve of your very nicely staged diorama . . . Quite the scene . . .

Steve,

As the others have said, this is another example of your great dio artistry!

This is a very realistic scene indeed.

Love the title too--very appropriate.

Cheers Mark, Silence is Golden by the Tremeloes and you can quiet imagine having the trembles if you were crouched out there and close enough to smell your foe and knowing the slightest sound could alert them !

Another excellent jungle scene Steve, keep them coming!

Cheers Duke, good of you to say and will do as long as Andy keeps pumping out great figures !

I guess something similar would of happened on both sides many times during the war and many such stories were told.

Just fantastic Steve, so real its scary!:salute::

Thanks very much Louis, yes it must of been very scary to be holding your breath and trying not to move, knowing to do so could be disaster !

Somebody is about to have a very bad day.....

Amazing display Steve.

For the US, If you were Army and Infantry you had 12 bad months, if Marine Corps 13 and if Vietnamese decades. All assuming you survived one way or another!

Another terrific scene Steve, silent now but soon they're going to; Run through the jungle ^&grin

Kudos again to you steve on your ability to take inanimate figures and turn them into artistic 3 dimensional moments in time. Your current series is just outstanding and very evocative of what it was like. I checked my body for leeches after looking at your pictures. Keep up this very imaginative series
