Yes the Guard post is pretty good and looking forward to seeing other FSB components being released. Perhaps it'll be the Latrine I've spotted in a couple of Andy's recent set up's. Wonder if it'll come with an occupant or a **** burning add on set !{sm4} Well spotted on the TG Dodge Rob !

You are a fine and proper gentleman,,,the place was a bit larger maybe both the next doors combined,,She 18 ,was seated on a stool outside as entre bait in the twilight,,walking in with several other young and free fools temporarily,,I was last in line and noticed her,,doing a 180 frog leap and jumped over in one motion,,Wan laughed and it began a two and a half week syonara type affair, as i was broke sending most of my money to my first ex wife it must have been my humor or full bearing of my personality that saved the day,,plus I didnt interfere with her "job hours',,detached from my platoon to the airfield I did have time available,,
Of course in my usual way I blew that ,,Hitting on a couple of her co workers,,twins,,,TWINS !!!! in the ranks as she took a short trip to saigon w family,,
they or someone told,,honor among them and My welcome I was ready for ,,was Shouting the entire vocab the average female had,,to me ,,my family,, ancestors not born yet etc,,To add ridicule ,throwing a small gift I gave her, to the scene in front of everyone,,including LILY who was a numbah one mamasan Kickboxer,,it was "give me the key " Of course my stuff was in the street already,,across from the army CID office,,who had their turn then..
Caught a ride back to the airfield and slept in an empty tent with all the vacant cots ,,everyone still saying goodbye after me,,Re attached to my recon platoon from shortimer detail..
We left early the next morning,,convoy back to 1st Div HQ and managed to catch the Hope show and several 33s by 9 am,Joey heatherton going by in a jeep almost falling on her face ,,
A great christmas for a Boy on the town in love,,

thanks for the memories you and her,,,I can watch the ceiling fan ,hands behind the head,,,the three feet of straight black hair,,the way overdone make up on the kid face,,never looked into her eyes again

one evening while in the lower depths of lilys and where ever the maze went ,the crowded hazy paradise room was given a walkthru by the local MP patrol,,A firm australian voice said to me,,,"lower your sleeves",,the three others,,Korean,,VietQC and an american ,, jumping up not wanting a frisk with a 45 under my shirt ,the American then said "Hes an American",,the Australian then,,"never mind yank" and left,,back to trying to promote the twins,,then innocently found out as a med malaria prevent ,,Downtown Aussys were supposed to roll down after dark,,as most everyone was in civs trying to look malibu..uniforms discouraged let alone weapons downtown.
During this educational nor official R and R,,I also found out the beautiful US ,,french run beaches ,,for the three day types plus the amusments,,restuarants etc made it quite the place,,unfortunatly two riflemen from the bn drowned the afternoon they had off,,surf in those same places and these two were from some inland state,,non swimmers,,again to my amazement in disney east,,Most all the LIFEGUARDS were U S Army for their tour,,what badges and decoration s I didnt know,,
Today Vung tau seems to be a much larger lovely tourist place well known or not,,same mountain looking over the beach,,vets of all sides mixing together,,

Another amusing pickadillo as a young man was one of my two visits to Saigon,,curious and a shotgun for a courier type jeep drive to Mac v hg,,pulled over a few minutes in traffic and the amazing crowd scenes ,,driving etc everywhere,,the "downtown Mps" as they were fondly called,, Shiney gloss helmets,,strached uniforms,,gloss jump boots etc,,,,Our jeep still standing out,,"why are you here?/? !st div papers of course,,why are you in those uniforms?? The usual regular mismatched jungle cuts,,,
Why are you carrying weapons ???etc etc wanting to leave as soon as possible I couldnt wait,,their time came the next tet,,no surprises,,
thank you all again,,old soldiers never die they just run on,,

To send things off,,,My favorite author,James jones in "here to eternity" wrote as one of his main characters Pvt Pruett ,discussed the impossible future with his local hawaiian wahinee, girlfriend,,,trying to end things ,,soldiers leave and it all goes on,,she replies "what happens to the girls?" His last words going out the door,," I guess they find other soldiers".,plus not every one has total titanic recall as some of us,

re lilys,,it was owned by an american civilian,,along with several other places nearby,,he worked for Pacific Architechs and Engineeres,,One of the largest U S Contractors in country then,,he traveled the country setting up micro wave towers a few days a week,,,mama san ran the bar and the business besides being a kickboxer,,another of the bizarre times I had at the moment,,met this guy a few days after becoming an inmate,,Middle age american in a hawaiian shirt,,the amount of U S business on the side plus the french who never left was amazing,

Fond memory of being taken in by the 1st Div MPs,,"Did you know this place ,,downtown Tue Duc,,was off limits?" Certainly not says aye,,a few minutes off ,,caught a ride at the main gate for a bit of Rand R,,sitting with my M16 alone in the place wondering why the crowd was so small,,
Took me to the station-tent w the wire,,took my weapon,,the bottle of whatever I just bought and called the company,,bailed out by several laughing comrades,, fortunatly our very own radar oreilly intercepted my write up and thats as far as it went,,Plus its a soldiers nature to get drunk and or screw up..
