Straight from the Horse,s mouth!! (1 Viewer)

These are nice, I like the horses. The soldier patting his faithful stead is a nice touch and look no teeth :D

TOM GUNN.....
Great figures. Cant wait to see all six winter figures on horses.
Nice series again TOM. Another homerun.

The first pic of the naughty fourties series looks nice a girl and a sailor on a sofa. Some nice FJ's with a medic checking a comrade for life and a great attack set. Looks a plentiful set of releases coming from TG

Like the mounted Winter German - very good. The quality of the horses bodes well for the new Nap range.

The paras look good also and now a new range the Naughty 40's

Be interesting to see what else is in store at London

Cheers

OH MY GOODNESS!! Well done TG. These are certain to be quite popular and will get snatched up quick, wouldn't you say? Fantastic work on the horses Tom. I really like the naturalistic pose of the soldier patting the horse's neck. These just look fantastic. Congratulations TG on the achievement(s).

This indeed must be the golden age of collecting. Now if I could only find some gold!

A good mixture of releases.

However I have lodged a formal complaint with The Toy Soldier Ombudsman over TG's treatment of British Paras !!

As one of my TG collectors asked, will there be a tropical version of the Naughty Forties Navy set ?

Regards
Brett

Yes Brett the Guy on the Workshop page of the website is the B version 'Pearl Harbour 1940' but he could fit in anywhere the navy wore whites.

Tom, the FJ with his dead mate, will there be a Normandy version of this?

Cheers

Yes there will be a Normandy version on show and also a very limited winter version of 100 sets. I know we normally stick with 2 versions but I really liked the medic set and it seemed to be screaming out to be made, so we did it as well.

Excellent, thanks Tom.

Excellent mounted Germans, as good as the Germans look the horses are just as nice...Sammy

Did the Germans still have calvary in spring of '45?

From memory there were at least two SS cavalry divisions in Hungary/Austria at the end of the war. Cavalry was used in anti-partisan warfare in the former Yugoslavia. Also German reconnaissance relied heavily on mounted soldiers.

Florian Geyer fought right until the end of the war but, were albeit destroyed in the battle of Buda-pest. They fought throughout croatia Yugoslavia and russia in the battles and retreat to the Dneiper.

These will go in any eastern front scenes from the creation of the division to the end of the war.
