I'm not familiar with HB, but I went and ordered the winter Berge, broke Panther, and Jadgpanther without ever seeing any HB products.. I just hope the pictures of these do them justice. I'd like to collect HB, are they as good or better than K&C?

HB makes great tanks and such and you will really be impressed with the vehicles you purchased, the figs are nice but IMO K&C has the edge, although these new sets being released look very nice. HB and K&C work well together in scenes too.

I've got the three original Panthers and a Sherman, and like 'em alot. It's obviously an opinion thing, but I think HB have got the edge over K&C for the vehicles and vice versa for the figures. That said, each is closing the gap with every new release IMO. The painting is more subdued and subtle on the HB vehicles.
Haven't seen any of the Gold series vehicles in the flesh, but from the photos shown, they look awesome. As for the photos you've seen, they look better in reality.

I won't get into which is better but I just got the broken down Panther and I think it is fantastic, as well as the Bergepanther. If HB offers a Desert Sherman and K & C does not, then, more likely than not, I will be ordering a Sherman.

HB did such a good job with my vision on the Tiger 1 I am confident this project will be successful as well.

I am fortunate since I am relatively new to the hobby so I don't have a lot of these vehicles from previous releases.

I think as HB gets into some of the more ubiquitous vehicles, like the Sherman, the versatility of the customization will come to the fore. If you want a desert variant, order it, if you want Bulge variant, order it, If you want Pacific variant, order it etc. etc. The ability to do multiples with different numbers also opens up a whole new world for displays and dioramas.

Alright, a K & C Cromwell. A very nice model even compared to K & C standards of today. Hopefully we'll see one by HB or a second version by K & C in the future.

Everybody on the forum knows I'm not a big fan of German tanks, but that SturmTiger is a NICE model. It gets an "Oh Wow" just for detail and execution!

All new vehicle releases from Honor Bound will be Gold Edition, Wraith is correct.
