Sturmtiger: first shots (1 Viewer)

I made one for the NMA tank but won't make another one because it wasn't that easy for me.

I begged for that crane a year ago but understand the building difficulties. So, if someone knows where I can get one, please let me know.

Many Thanks,

That is why I bought the vehicle, to get the crane:D Joking of course, the crane made the NMA vehicle even more appealing but the paint job won me over completely. It is acutally a well detailed model but the original paint job was lacking for me. IF anyone has one, let Alex work his magic, you will not recognize the vehicle after the maestro does his work on it!!!!

Job well done on the purchase! Happy to hear she has a great home.

Enjoy (As I ponder what could have been...),

Where did you get it from? I heard George at Minutemen still has some left but need to check that line out. What happened to NMA by the way?
Can you get HB in the UK or do u have to order thru Argentina?

Turns out Sierra Had a few S T's

It's all styrene and I guess the most difficult part was making circles and getting some good references.

Yeah, but now you have done it . The hard part is already done. Can I get a close up. I would like to or are dreaming of a platoon of these S T's and would like to make the cranes for them. As well as the projectiles.

I think it's ironic now that NMA have gone there is a renewed interest in their Sturmtiger thanks to HB!

Here are a few of my own pics with natural light. I've made a couple of them grainy b/w to demonstrate what the colors look like in that format.

Note how glare affects the final result.

For those of you who are curious what's inside. There are storage racks left and right with rocket projectiles in them, a rocket projectile in the loading tray, a helmet and a canteen. The real Sturmtioger stored 6 rocket projectiles on each side of the superstructure, 1 in the chamber and 1 in the loading tray for a total of 14.

Don't I know it Bill. I kept thinking maybe I'll get a Sturmtiger, but thinking the Gold Edition would be around for a long time. It wasn't until I realized there was a five day deadline that I snagged one of the Shermans with the Snorkels, and at that time, I just wasn't in a position to order a second Sherman, a Tiger and a Sturmtiger.

We have got to get collectors together and find a way to get these back in production. Losing the Gold Edition vehicles would be as big a loss to the hobby as losing K&C Warbirds or Figarti Shock and Awe pieces. All three are unique works of art that make collecting fun and interesting for me. There's got to be a way for Honour Bound to make a profit on these amazing vehicles.
