Sturmtiger: first shots (3 Viewers)

I don't know yet, Brad. The sturmtiger is casted in 2 pieces. That's the reason that you can see inside, because it's got all the interiors. But I'm don't think that the Sherman can fit in this kind of cating process.

I'll let you know when Gabriel gets to make it.

Guys,

Here are the new accessories for the Sturmtiger only, added to the usual ones that can be used for both, Tiger and Sturmtiger.

The rocket projectiles are a nice option. I particularly like the one with the wooden shipping jacket. I also like the lift harness better than the hook in the original pictures. The tow cable looks short to me but that should be an easy adjustment.

Look at the size of those bleedin' shells! Those are Rockets? I am picking up a NMA Sturmtiger in the Winter scheme.

Where were those shells carried. I can't think the Sturmtiger was big enough to carry that many.

From AP:

Sturmtiger could demolish any building or other target with a single shot, but it could carry only 14 rocket projectiles inside the superstructure. Twelve projectiles were stored in two stowage racks, one more in the launcher and another on the load-ing tray. Most vehicles carried only 13 rounds, without the one on the loading tray. The vehicle was equipped with a hand-operated lifting crane mounted on the right rear of the superstructure. This was used to load projectiles into the vehicle and needed the entire crew of five to operate. The crane could be dismantled and stored when not in use.

That's interesting about the crane being able to be stored. So the NMA version with no crane is ok then?

Notice that the crane/hoist is deployed. It should be fairly easy to make for the NMA version.

Is the grenade launcher on either model?

I made one for the NMA tank but won't make another one because it wasn't that easy for me.

Is that styrene or brass. It looks great. What was difficult about making it?

I got the Winter version today along with another Panther from K&C

Where did you get it from? I heard George at Minutemen still has some left but need to check that line out. What happened to NMA by the way?
Can you get HB in the UK or do u have to order thru Argentina?

NMA folded a while back after difficulty in trying to run the business from the UK.
You could try pm-ing panda1gen here on Treefrogs for Honour Bound. Don't know what stock he has.

It's all styrene and I guess the most difficult part was making circles and getting some good references.
