These two bad boys arrived from TG today. One is mine and the other one is Bob's (Fitzgibbon). It was a gift to me from me for a new job and a promotion. A work of art no less!

From what we can see,
Martin, she's a beauty! Surely, you're going to humor us with additional pics, "a little more leg," so to speak.^&grin

Here's just a tease ... courtesy of TG. I have not attacked the unpacking as yet.

My wife, who often appears too good to be true, said 'Now promise me you'll get a purpose built cabinet to put it in ... but big enough to put another plane in if you get one next year'!

Forgot to give a shout out to TG for being so good to deal with. The planes did not quite make it in time for Christmas but my wife made me buy some 'emergency' TS so I would have something to unwrap!

Congratulations on the Sunderland. What a beast! It looks fantastic. -- Al

Martin has been either a very good boy or a very bad one ^&grin

Congratulations.

Dude. Awesome. What's the wingspan on the model? I saw a Sunderland once in a RAF museum in London, they're insanely huge. Bravo dude

Congrats, what a beast of a model. Looking fwd to the pics. I've been thinking about getting the Corgi 1:72 version and don't know where I would put that, much less the 1:30 scale. Chris

Thomas Gunn with yet another aircraft that pushes the boundary. I have a couple of WW1 aircraft and they are the best on the market in my opinion. Couple of questions - firstly what is the length and wingspan? Big cheeky but how much was it to buy?

I'll post dimensions when I can find a bigger tape measure and some pics when I get a bigger camera. The cost commitment for one per year is the same as a packet of cigarettes each week...but it's much better for you and you know it {sm4}

This isn't my period at all but the size of that box was astounding! Seriously, how big is that thing? My gob was smacked when I saw that box in comparison with the chair next to it.

WOW...very impressive...let's hope a Lancaster Bomber isn't far off...G-George?..Or maybe N-Nuts is more appropriate for a WW2 bomber.
