Jeff,
Forgot to mention in my previous post; Missus Heid went to the hairdressers today - and as well as coming home with a horrendous new hairstyle, she also presented me with another couple of those Chinese scroll-type paintings, and surprisingly enough, they're rather tasteful. So they went up on the wall this evening and now I have Oriental backdrops that cover the entire rear side of the main display.
I need some kind of silk placemats or something similar to brighten up the lower shelves of the display cabinet where the Eating, Smoking and Artillery sets are located - so I'll chase her out tomorrow to see if she can find something suitable. Silk handkerchief's might work.
In addition, I received an email from EoI today informing that my original July order contained items no longer available, so that was adjusted and we'll see what I can get from the revised order. This one will take me up to around 90% of the EoI Samurai items I want, so I'll be starting on the Boxer and Colonial Collection in September - plus A.N. Other company is issuing their new Samurai release around September/October - and I quite fancy some of the DelProdo Samurai figures. Where I'm going to put all this new stuff is anyone's guess cos I'm rapidly running out of display space.
Looks like the SOHK collection is going to have to go into storage for a while.
Mind you, I still have a couple of green tanks and LRDG Chevy's on display - yeah - good idea H. They can go into storage instead.....and that'll free up some shelves for the new stuff.
Holy Toledo Batman - I've got more stuff boxed away at the moment that you can shake the proverbial stick at. But won't it be fun unpacking it all again next year.....
Cheers
H
