Mike,

Great collection, to say it is a colorful series would be a large understatement.

Steve

Boy you have hit this series hard Mike. The colour is outstanding and you have certainly done justice to it. Still some legs in the series still as well. Robin.

Blimey Mike I nearly had to put my Ray-Bans on to enjoy all of these great pictures ^&grin

Awesome, just awesome {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Stay safe

Martyn:)

Very impressive diorama and great collection. The series is a awkward one to display given the long city walls with entrance and future temple. That is why I set my scene up lengthwise and only purchased half the city structure. I'm hoping to put a lot of focus on the temple if it ever arrives. Well done Michael. Regards Greg.

As time goes by, think it is becoming doubtful John will bother with the temple given the size. Ever hopeful. Robin.

Robin...you may be right...he very well may not...
I believe the front entrance pictured below weighed over 4 pounds...it's not hollow and it's freakishly heavy...
God only knows what that piece weighs...

if not publicly released for resale...I'm hoping the prototype will be a "caption prize" coming my way...^&grin...^&grin...^&grin...^&grin...^&grin

If that is what eventuates Robin I will attempt to build my own. It would be nice to get some information from John and see a Montezuma figure and a sacrifice scene in the offering. Greg.

Greg...if he doesn't...do a tutorial on your build so I can copy it...^&grin

Mike, an impressive display with the overall size and as others mentioned the eye popping colors. Nicely staged. :salute:: Chris

Mike, as I stated on the JJD Collector's FB page, these are just outstanding figures. You have a very nice CoA collection indeed.
:smile2: Mike

you know some of those figures are over 6 inches tall...
and the sculpts are amazingly engineered in terms of sturdiness...
you would think they would be both delicate and fragile...
a guy with a swan on his head...
or an umbrella on his head...
but they aren't...
they are solid in durable integrity...

Mike,

I'm going with what everyone else has said about the figures and colours which makes for a superb range to collect.

Your photo's are so clear and crisp which makes them even better imho.

Excellent thread!! :salute::

Jeff

I visited the temple of the feathered serpent last year. It is massive!

Howard...
Benjamin...

thank you both for the pictures and maps...
do you have any full size pictures for closer scrutiny of the temples or of the artist's renderings?
