A couple rear garrisoned members of the 24th Regiment assist a Royal Artillery detachment on the long road to Ulundi. The original field carriages for their 9pdr RML guns were unsuited to the track in Zululand. The 24th has helped their comrades switch to a Kaffrarian carriage, a local design that will allow the guns to be carried swiftly to the front!
Fleurbaix bought Mountford guns painted up in...GLOSSY.

What a nice way to introduce your Mountford guns my Aide de Camp with the help of your Trophy figures a classic set of photos...........The Lt.

DELICIOUS !!

It's been awhile since we have had a Natal chapter from you Mike. Very nice indeed, loving the new items.

What's that mat like, will it go good with the matte WB ?

Mike,

Nice sets, cool combining of the sets, it os great to see some of your sets in dioramas again.

Jake, Lt, Scott and Brian,
Of course, thanks for the accolades...I've been so busy at work and around the house, I needed some downtime. I got the fleurbaix finally and painted them (the parts that weren't missing) while watching Mythbusters and Expedition Africa.
The mat is from the most excellent Build-A-Rama and is something you can whip out at a moment's notice, and roll or fold up when done. It beats having yet another terrain piece lying around for the wife to *itch about and the kids to destroy! Very much recommended, and they all come in 12" x 24" for perfect fits in cabinets or anywhere!

Scott,
Forgot to answer your question...the mats were designed for matte figures in mind. They'll handle ANY matte WBs you got.

Michael,
Thanks goes to TROPHY and Marc from Build-a- Rama. I'l also get some use out of the 9pdr guns when Lt. Curling gets overrun!

Great pictures Mike.

I bought a mat from John Gittins at the London Show, must get around to using it once the Heatwave finishes over here and I can get out of the pool:D
