Like a screen writer for a Hollywood Movie at times the history line of the events at The Drift will deviate slightly...The Lt

As Chard pulled the defenders behind the biscuit box wall the Zulu launch a major frontal assault against the Hospital.

Thats some really great work. How many of the Zulus are plastic or are they all metal? I really enjoy the action shots you have set up.

Dave the Zulus in the last 5 photos are metal figures from Trophy of Wales. I also use Conte Plastics creating many of the scenes and from time to time mix Little Legion in with Trophy along with some of my metal painted Zulus....The Lt.

Very good work!

I am really enjoying the display and I am hoping to see some new Zulu War items from Britains in the next couple of years. I mentioned some ideas for vignettes from them including a Kraal and the death of the Prince Imperial it would also be fun to see a series of personality figures like Garnet Wolseley, King Cetshwayo, Lord Chelmsford etc. What do you think anyone you'd like to see done or done again?

They just keep comming, that was real fighting back then. Imagine having to reload a cartrige after every shot. From what I heard those guns tended to jam after multiple shots from over heating. If you were to survive that on slaught, you had better puts some guts behind your bayonet. Great Stuff Lt. Mike.

Dave hopefully we'll see the Britains soon. What I would like to see done is a group of figures preparing the defenses of the Drift. Figures of Chard, Bromhead, Dalton, Dunne and Colour Sergeant Bourne firing rifles. A figure of the Prince holding his sword and firing his pistol as he's attacked by a group of Zulus as similar to the photo which appears on the cover of Ian Knight's Brave Mens Blood. A large number of hand to hand scenes featuring Officers, NCO's and others of The Natal Mounted Police, Natal Native Horse & Officers, Natal Carbineer as well as the 24th. Chard, Bromhead, Dalton and the others can also be featured as others when setting up a Mini, or Large Scale Battle Scene as I do with my Trophy Figures. My wish list is large but my wallet isn't. But that's what Christmas and Birthdays are for.

Trooper Sydney Hunter of The Natal mounted Police fires at a group of Zulus from the window of the Hospital while others are attempting to brake into it........The Lt.

The Zulus continue to put pressures on the Hospital defenders as Private Chick fires from the veranda window..........The Lt.

Trooper Hunter and Private Hook continue firing as quickly as they could reload their rifles........The Lt.

Chard alon with Bromhead lead an attack against the Zulus taking some of the pressure off of the defenders of the Hospital.........The Lt.

Lieutenant Chards efforts for a time was successful but darkness encouages the Zulu to continue their assault against the Hospital as Private Chick returns fires from the verandas window......The Lt.
