Little Legion!!! Can't forget about those rankers! IMHO best glossy out there today, but ...you knew that!
Great shot, My Lord!
Mike

I must agree Little Legion does make the best Zulu Glossy figures that are available today. Sorry, I missed the Trophy heyday, but I am doing my best to make up for lost time.

Sure couldn't my Aide de Camp and agree with both you and Brian on the Little Legion figures and Brian I hope your successful in acquiring the Trophy sets and figures your on the hunt for. In the mean time got a little playtime in the sun with my Brit rankers.

Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for posting the pictures of your new acquisition with Little Legion figures.

It looks like great compatibility. Even the clock and wall paper looks "cool".....

Best, Raymond.

Nice addition Brian and there's no doubt the fun you'll have with it. Once again I found another rare newpaper clipping of a 17th Lancer on the prowl.

William Martin was the first casualty of the Anglo-Zulu War.Martin was with the Royal Navy Landing Brigade from H.M.S. "Active," and working the ponts across the Tugela River ferrying the invasion force of Pearson's #1 Column on the 12th of January. The river was in torrent and 270 yards across. The pont flipped, killing Martin and injuring Lieutenant Craigie and others.

Nice set up LL and Trophy, with a little history lesson thrown in the story, well done.

Thanks Jake and Brian...I read this account from the official RNLB report of the AZW in an archived edition of the London Gazzette, 11/07/79...Mentions other ships taking part in actions that I had never read before.
