Things that annoy me (3 Viewers)

Customers that are 50? 60? Years of age and ask me. " can you cook this roast in a crock pot??? 🙄...I guess the 50 plus years hasn't taught them much.

People who talk on their cell phones while grocery shopping.

Most human beings can barely do one thing at a time, let alone three.

For most, pushing a cart, while trying put things into that cart is difficult enough. Please do not make it more difficult by adding in a meaningless phone conversation.

The Olympics. Wildly overhyped. And in China this year. I'll pass.

Not to mention it is full of sports that no one really cares about unless they are part of the Olympics.

C'mon Panzer, where is the Olympic love? I mean you gotta admit it takes a huge pair of huevos to do the giant slalom...going down a mountain at over a 100 mph? Bruh, watching that is terrifying and exciting at the same time.

You don't watch figure skating neither? The jumps, triple whatevers and those outfits they wear? Panzer you know you tune in to that.

And Hockey? Now with the mens and womens team? You gotta support that.

Oh and I dig the snowboard races, but not the barrel stuff.

Panzer there's got to be something you dig...ah yes...your a curling fan...I knew it.:)

John,

Great reply and seriously, thanks for the laughs.

Hockey is actually my favorite sport so you have me there.

Beyond that, well let’s just say I do not subscribe to cable channels that feature curling, snowboard racing or any triple anything.

Best,
Jason

Throw in the time difference with almost everything broadcast on tape delay in the US long after the event and it's even harder to have any enthusiasm. And I bet there is not a peep of political protest by the American athletes against China. Too much money for them to lose from Nike and others in endorsements. They will save all that to protest their own country. I'll take a big pass on it.

God knows what viruses they will come back with. {eek3}

When I click on an article titled "Dog's Hilarious Stick Collecting Habit Goes Viral" but there is no link to the video in the story. Maddening. I need to see that dog carrying sticks!

Football related:

1) the KC Chief's mascot that dances around the goal posts on every FG or extra point and feigns indignation when the opposing team makes a kick by banging his head against the goal posts. Embarrassing. What is that thing even supposed to be? Are they the "chiefs" of space aliens or something? It is not only annoying but weird.

2) those cheap hats and t-shirts they roll out after a team wins the division or conference championship. They look like they are made in the darkest Nike sweatshop in China for about a dime apiece while someone beats the laborers with a whip. And fugly to boot.

The Bills, Bucs and Chiefs all losing made my entire post season, just wonderful to see.

Two #4 seeds, don't think that has ever happened.

Best of luck in the Super Bowl.

Thanks George. Amazingly enough, the LA Rams have never won a Super Bowl. The St. Louis Rams won one but that's not quite the same. And unlike a lot of teams that have never won, the Rams have usually fielded competitive or even occasionally great teams. Those Rams teams in the 60s and 70s were very good but snakebit in the playoffs. The few times that the Rams made it to the SB they ran into dynasty teams like Bradshaw's Steelers and Brady's Pats. No chance.

It's going to be a home game for the Rams, a **** ton of their fans will be there, the Bungles 17 fans will all car pool to LA in a covered wagon................during the AFCCG, they showed some sports bar in Cincinatti, there were 19 people in the joint with price tags hanging off their #9 jerseys.

The Chiefs and Andy Reid's buffoonery blew that game, burned a time out prior to a challenge, then they ran out of them on the goal line at the end of the half, he's 3-6 in the Championship game, 5 of those losses are at home.

Four strait trips to the AFCCG at home and they end up going to 2 Super Bowls and winning 1.

That's......................not good.

Fans from cold weather cities travel in big numbers to LA. Fleeing their arctic nightmare for a vacation in California. Also, you have a ton of retirees from those places in California. So when a Chicago, Green Bay or Cincy team comes to LA the stands are full of their fans. And the announcers go on and on about how many visiting fans are in attendance like it is a shock. I expect about a 50-50 split in fans. Hopefully the Rams don't take the Bengals too lightly. The Rams are the better team on paper but Cincy is red hot.

Not knowing the Olympic Curling rules. Watched some last night and thought of Jason.

John:

I am glad I read your post, I almost forgot to put “sweep the back porch” on this weekend’s to do list.

Best,
Jason
