Things that annoy me (8 Viewers)

The Lakers must think they are in March madness. Two nights ago they won on a tip in with .1 seconds left. Last night they lost on a last second half court shot. More excitement than the entire NCAA tourny so far.

Sometimes getting stopped under overpasses or bridges including those over major interstates while in a convertible and noticing that large chunks off the overpasses are crumbling off or missing. The infrastructure in this country is a disaster. Particularly given all the money that is allocated for such purposes. Every major airport is a disaster. Always some major construction project going on but they never get any better.

Same here, As the Country turns to turds, Billions for those who never paid in a Penny though and still they moan it's not enough.

We have a beautiful country with a Declaration of Independence, Constitution,Bill of Rights, laws that everyone is to be applied equally, overall good people but one thing is wrong, the **** politicians. They are so greedy and power hungry they are ruining this country.

Stock market taking another brutal hit. Inflation rising. So far, so bad. A great job with the economy during his first term. It's been an absolute disaster to this point.
And he's going to hold onto these moronic tariffs like grim death, economy be ****ed.

Just beyond clueless.

First 130+ years that is the way the US collected money with tariffs. No one seems to care about our "friends" charging us large tariffs but heaven forbid if we turn it back on them.

This is 2025, not 1890; tariffs on things like toy soldiers which cannot be produced in the US is not a smart idea.

If toy soldiers were produced in the US and US workers paid a going wage, they would be double if not triple the cost.

Tariffs are going to kill the US toy soldier market at this rate, then US buyers will have no choice but to buy from non US sources and guess what, you'll pay a tariff to bring them to you in the US.

It's a beyond idiotic policy but consider the source; a completely clueless idiot.

Toddy:

Red Bull has shown no patience with him after putting him in an impossible situation.

The car is not that great and he is being compared to his teammate who is one of the greatest drivers of all-time.

I hope that the switch to Red Bull’s other team will help him develop.

Thanks Jason,

Yes very frustrating for Liam and his supporters, especially when its become increasingly apparent the engineers are struggling to set up the car for him, plus by all accounts their cars are complex to drive and very challenging.

I'm sure he'll raise to the occasion, however its a kick in the guts by Red-Bull management after only 2x drives.

Cheers

The proliferation of online reviews of books and movies or just about anything. These are occasionally informative but more often useless. Many of these are obviously plants by the creator trying to promote a product using over the top buzz words like "groundbreaking." There is a whole industry, however, of individuals who contribute reviews which break along either the subject under consideration either being fantastic or the worst in history. Rarely any middle ground. Some of these go on for pages as though these individuals believe they are working for the NY Times. Others are one or two sentence that boil down to it sucking.

It's funny that tariffs don't seem to hurt other countries only us. You may be right but I don't know,There are a lot more social services for people now then back over 100 years ago. He did pretty good in his first term with the economy so we will have to wait and see.

It is hurting China, they are pivoting and moving production to factories in Vietnam, which are now overwhelmed.

This is a smart idea; until he drops a tariff on items produced in Vietnam.

Tariffs are only effective if other countries begin to feel the pain. They are useless in the short term. That means a willingness to take a big hit on the market, increased costs, and waiting it out. Maybe for years. Otherwise other countries are just willing to up the stakes believing the US will cave. You can't continue to bluff and put them off and on. It's either all in or out.

Maryland's AD left for SMU two weeks ago after signing a contract extension 7 months ago. Now the men's basketball coach blasts the program and leaves for Villanova. All this is during the portal transfer period. As an alum, I gave up on the program yrs ago but Lancer/Al must be turning over in his grave.

The US Army M88 recovery vehicle that sank in a Lithuanian swamp 12' below water has been retrieved. Yet the "fate of the 4 man crew remains unknown?" Why not? How long does it take to open the hatches and look inside?
