Things that annoy me (4 Viewers)

It's the holidays. So time for delivery guy stories. I have an outside security camera. I get up this morning to see that some "deliver guy" in his own car pulled into the driveway some time well after dark last night. He rolled down his window and chucked the package frisbee style in the direction of my back porch and then beat it. It rained overnight. So it was soaked. Fortunately, nothing breakable. He also took another of our packages to the wrong address.

My Dad can top that, though. He bought a 200-acre lot in the middle of nowhere about 25 years ago. At that time, it had an abandoned house on the property in addition to his own home. He tore the abandoned house down about a decade ago, bulldozed it, and planted an orchard which he surrounded with a gate to keep the deer out. The abandoned house, however, apparently still has an address in the UPS database that is similar to that of some other person in the area and is mistaken for that person's home. Because of that, whenever the person at the real address orders a package, UPS drives to my Dad's orchard and chuck the package over the fence into a field. There is no house visible for a mile. They just throw this person's packages into the orchard without giving it a second thought. He tells me there is no way to communicate with anyone at UPS. So he collects up the packages and contacts the person. The age of Idiocracy.

You must be the only Walz defender in America. LOL.
You're right....your comment is funny...lol...

A defender of Walz...lol...sorry...but that's a false conclusion on your part if that's what you got out of my post...
I was referring to the leader of the Free World "dancing around like a fool"...not defending Walz...

thought possibly the video of Trump might have offended you too...as you chastised another candidate for "dancing around like a fool"...
however...perhaps there is a twitch of double standard there...
long live "YMCA"...

Trump is not a good dancer but the NFL guys like it.

Oh ya, trump's little two step makes me want to vomit - looks like he's dropping a load into his Depends.
Way to keep it classy and factual. I will be ecstatic if I am as functional and continue to achieve into my 70s and that is by no means a demonstration of affection for Trump. It is merely a fact as obviously thus far less than 50 people have been elected president and he did it twice.

Again, I am not a Trump worshipper but good lord I am constantly amazed at how 1 guy is in the heads of half the Country.

No politician gets to me that much not would I ever let them. Complete waste of time imo. If the amount of time anf resouces that is spent worrying and hating Donald Trump was redirected elsewhere like disease research, we would probably find cures for quite a few.

Sure you’re right...you hit the nail on the head...I could not agree more...good point...

starve out SNAP recipients...get them where it hurts...in their children’s stomachs…

tariff retail businesses to the point of failure…

increase their health care cost so they can’t even afford their medicine…destroying their quality of life...

Affordability of food and commodities...grab them again by the wallet...

Habeas Corpus...forget the Constitution...“we don’t need no stinking trials...You’re guilty cause I say you’re guilty”...Kristi Noem’s...Secretary of Homeland Security...can’t even define the concept...

but I’m guessing he’s in more than in half the country’s heads now…

Republican Congressmen defecting and resigning from office...blatantly voting against him in the Senate and House in record numbers...Republican’s becoming more worried about their constituent’s votes than they are afraid on DJT’s primary threats…

again you’re right...and he's getting in more people’s heads and alienating more voters daily...a real “man of the people”…

what’s not to love about him?

And the democrats would do what? When aoc, adam shiff, tim walz, hakeem jeffries and maxine waters are the best you have to offer. You might want to reconsider.

Not sure what you’re asking me to reconsider…but my post was specific to why Trump is in the head of half of Americans… it’s not what anybody would do…it’s specifically what Trump has done…you can write your own response to your question…but a corpse in a wheelchair would cause less damage than he has… every time you ask him about the latest atrocities him or his cabinet has caused… he reminds me of Hogan’s Hero’s Sergeant Schultz … “ I know nothing”… a real role model…

The relentless snow coverage. I say it every year but it just gets worse. The Weather Channel is breathlessly covering snow in Chicago. As though that has never happened before. And the same tired guidance to slow down on the roads or stay home. No one would have thought of that on their own.

They've been whipping people here into a frenzy for three days over this storm; now it's going to be rain in Boston and south to the cape, 1 to 3 inches slightly inland, 3 to 6 north and west of the city, the majority of the state will get nothing.

Idiots.

I have to admit that I watch it. The coverage is unintentionally entertaining. I particularly like when some reporter is playing it up like the end of times and they cut to the live scene where not a single flake of snow is falling, and old ladies are out walking their dogs.

What, no report from the parking lot of the local supermarket showing wiped out milk, bread, eggs, toilet paper and water?

People must get cravings for French toast when it snows.

I seen on the national news tonight San Francisco is suing the big food producing companies like Kelloggs etc for having food preserving chemicals in their products which they claim is a serious health hazard. Yet from what I have seen San Francisco is an open drug market. Junkies shooting up in plain view and on and on. I think the city even hands out syringes. Can someone explain this to me?
