Things that annoy me (2 Viewers)

Agreed.
Still hard to fathom why New Yorkers voted for him, especially given his faith, crazy promises and who his financial backers are.
Seems like the red-green alliance (communist-Muslim) is gaining popularity everywhere these days.
He promised rent control, a lot of free stuff like subways (underground) and buses, and tax the rich schemes. Voters are suckers for that.

In the US we keep trying extreme political ideologies in a desperate attempt to destroy each other.

The one thing we seem to be accomplishing is the destruction of ourselves.
I really thought the Democrats learned their lesson after getting smoked in the presidential election and would try to be more centralist in an effort to win back the popular vote; instead they are getting more and more radical with this stooge in NYC, AOC (Mother of God her screeching voice is like fingernails on a blackboard) and Crockett leading the way.

None of which are going to work............he won over the 18-29 voter block; morons who still live at home, get up at the crack of noon everyday, run down to Starbucks for a latte, play on their IPhone all day, then head out to the bars at night, a real solid base he's got going for him.

Actually, in all fairness, he's already done a great job; of driving the real estate values up in FL and NY, people are literally flooding out of NY to get away from the nonsense.

Honestly and I hate to say this but the NYC election proves my many times posted point that there are a lot of non intelligent American voters. The other 2 elections were not surprising. NJ is a majority democrat state. VA Republican candidate was weak. Honestly in those elections all 4 candidates were weak and not the best to offer in my opinion. But that is how it works. Our best and brightest are smart enough not to run sadly.

Yeah, I knew there was a snowballs chance in Hell NJ was going to flip and yes, all four candidates were indeed weak, so this is what you get.

Good point...Sad but true...DJT blackballs Democratic American citizens and cities on federal funding...he controls the money and freezes out blue states...
When in your victory speech you call out the president and show what a far left loon radical you really are (kudos to him, he played a good game with the laughing and fake BS smiling during his campaign; who wrote his speech, the same guy who wrote Mein Kampf?), you're going to get frozen out, not the smartest move out of the gate, but consider the source, a moron who really has no clue how government actually works.

Follow the breadcrumbs and you'll see who is behind this guy, tells you all you need to know.

Your other options were Chester the Molester...the Red Beanie...and Eric "Turkey" Adams...a scandalous trio...
come on man...for real...would you have wasted your vote on them?

It's like Tom said, terrible choices all around, a scandalous trio for sure.

Either way, R.I.P. NYC, this guy wants to set aside 65 million taxpayer dollars for transgender operations and make NYC a transgender sactuary.

And that's just one of his brainstorms.

The "free" public transportation murders me, they can't operate effectively now and that's with charging fees, who's going to pay for all the gas, electric and repair bills with zero dollars coming in?

He'll just tax the crap out of NYC residents.

So much for the battle cry "Never forget" after 9/11, 24 years later, they all forgot.

And 33% of the NYC Jewish population voted for this guy?

Mother of God...........not my city, not my problem, whatever happens there had better not seep into Boston and their crackpot mayor, that's all I have to say.

It’s the same situation in most western democracies to varying degrees now Jason. While there are complex reasons for it occurring, mass immigration on a scale never seen before is behind many of the problems we’re seeing now. Plummeting birth rates are the prime cause and again there are many reasons for this. The idea you can introduce diverse cultures and religions into western society without blow back is a total myth. It’s not that western culture isn’t tolerant, it’s more the other way round. Of course a certain type of ignorance helps a lot too, but that’s another topic in itself…..cheers

Mamdani, with his calls for all the free stuff, reminds me of Roman emperors throwing coins to the masses from his chariot.
Was listening to a talk show and they mentioned the possibility of AOC entering the Dem primary for POTUS and maybe getting the VP slot. Pretty scary.

Tim A Trees at Lowes. There was a controversy a few yrs ago when they changed from Christmas trees to Holiday Trees and now this. Why? Who's offended by the term Christmas tree? And aren't they mostly purchased by Christians for Christmas(I know others also celebrate the holiday)?

As they say Chris, they are offended by everything, and ashamed of nothing.

Scary is not the word, terrifying is more like it.
