I agree. It's incredibly stupid. And even if he himself didn't post it, someone in charge should be exercising a minimum amount of oversight if they are posting things on his behalf. It plays into the narrative that Trump is a racist and allows the media to distract to that narrative for the next week. Trump is not a racist. He is a supreme narcissist. Which means if you say nice things about him, he loves you. And if say negative things, he hates you. Race doesn't factor into that equation.

The US athletes are already bad mouthing the US in the Olympics. So predictable and tiresome. Do the athletes of other countries go to the Olympics and criticize their own countries? The country that supports them in their training. Maybe they should focus a bit more on the games as the US teams almost always underperform given their competitive advantages.

Trump renaming the JFK Memorial Center...now wanting to remodel it after it was just remodeled 7 years ago at a new cost of $200 million...how does a living person get his name on a Memorial...also placing his name on the headquarters of the Institute of Peace…on “Trump Class” battle ships...on Trump Gold Cards...on Trump RX...and on President Donald J. Trump Blvd in Florida…just to name a few...

His attempts to honor himself have been overwhelmingly narcissistic...just shoving his personal branding down American’s throats…
but none more egregious than this newest one...halting funding on the 16 billion dollar Gateway Rail Underwater Tunnel Project that could put 11,000 jobs at risk...unless the Dulles Airport and Penn station agree to be re-named after Trump…

America is being held hostage on progress and jobs…with 2025 posting the weakest job growth since the pandemic...now freezing funding on this project unless Americans put his name a a few more buildings...so petty and self serving...

Maybe maxine waters might make a run. I know aoc would do well on foreign affairs. But maybe saving the best for last jasmine crockett would be the peoples choice.

There were a rash of kidnappings for ransom back in the 20s and 30s. I do wonder in light of the current situation if there is going to be a return to such crimes because of cybercurrency. If so, it would not just be famous people but anyone with wealth who is at risk. The police haven't exactly been impressive as yet. Lots of press conferences but not many answers. With all the technology available including tracking cell phones, vehicles, license plate readers and security cameras, it is amazing to me that they haven't identified anyone as a suspect.

Don't say anyone, you may not like who that is. There are some really bad actors who have the national spotlight now on both sides of the aisle. Granted, admittedly, some of the Democrats scare me more, but both sides have plenty of morons up to offer. I really wish there was a way for Haley to reclaim the Republican Party, I also like Rubio, I think he is very intelligent, which is always very helpful AND he has performed under congressional grilling with decorum and class 99% of the time. That goes a long way in likeability and also foreshadows how he will conduct himself in the spotlight. I am not sure what his aspirations are, but he may be a good answer for the middle.

Regarding the naming issue, it is just a typical ego response and IMO a bad path to continue on.

I give her an A for effort but there is no way Vonn should have been skiing in the Olympics this year. Maybe it is an ego thing, but with her injuries the right thing to do would have been to give someone else an opportunity. No matter how the media tries to spin this, she did no one any favors including herself.
