Things that I really like (8 Viewers)

Here is a funny one and I am linking the https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/02/22/josh-shapiro-neighbor-dispute-pennsylvania/ , governor of PA is in hot water and looking a little foolish in my opinion. I don't know who is right in this dispute, but from the surface, this is a NO win situation for a Governor and I am sure it will be news for a bit. This is a case of IMO when you may have higher aspirations, you just pay your neighbor their asking price and move on. Claiming land through adverse statutes is never a good look, you look like a bully even if you are right.

OK - again, You just can't make it up America.

Sorry about that, just do a google, there are more articles (saying the same thing) than you can count

Shapiro should pay for a new property line survey, quickest and cheapest solution for property disputes, and he should pay for the entire fence cost considering it would be more expensive than the average US fence. Of course the matter has blown up out of all proportion because of political mud slinging.

Hence my point, you just have to laugh. If I were him, I would find the fastest route out of this and be done with it. Again, just pay them for their property and fees, etc and get out of the national news spotlight. It is only a lose lose for him.

Doug, that was a great game last night… had a real playoff vibe to it… even Smart had a good game. They’ve been on a nice run the last week or so. That intentional missed free throw from Austin Reaves was ridiculous crazy!

Mike:

I had to look these highlights up, I was too busy watching Wemby get the Spurs to 17-2 in their last 19 games.

Regarding this NBA thing you fellas are talking about; does anybody play in the low post anymore?

Does anyone take the ball to basket anymore?

Does anyone run the fast break anymore?

All of these guys are out of shape; all the do is jog back and forth in between the 3 point lines.

I watched highlights of the Celtics/Spurs game; does Wemby take the ball inside of does he just heave up 3's like everyone else, asking for a friend.

People rave about how stacked the West is vs the East; guess what, only one team from the West gets to the finals, same as the East.

Wemby does play inside and he does run the low-post.

The problem is that no one plays defense and if they do they are constantly called for fouls.

It is an offensive centric now (unlike when it was truly great in the 80’s).

My bet is we are not far off from games ending in 200-199 final scores.

The Lakers are raging. I'm sure it won't last too long but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

BTW: it takes me about ten minutes to post on this forum since I think they are throttling me but there you have it. Go Lakers!

Space City Network? I'm impressed. I was going to watch on ESPN. I still pull for the Lakers but it's a far cry from the 80s or even the Kobe B. era. Sometimes hard to watch.

The Academy Awards ratings are in; about 17 million viewers, down from 45 million in 1996, 36 million in 2006, 34 million in 2016, viewership has cratered the past 10 years, a 50% drop, this is largely due to the crappy movies that have won for best picture the past 10 years.

No one cares what a bunch of rich, out of touch, entitled, virtue signaling woke people who make a living pretending to be someone else thinks.

People are not watching the movies that have won for best picture the past several years, mainly because.............they were awful.

Hollywood has totally lost its way, there is no coming back.

Just rename it the DEI awards and get it over with.

As previously posted "This year's Oscars show continues the downward trend of viewership/ratings and the movie theater industry is in sharp decline of ticket sales. If only we could connect the dots."
