time on my hands at last (1 Viewer)

Robin...I'll repeat myself again, you just keep coming up with something all the time, the carriages and the little trackside building.....{bravo}}
Wayne.

Yea Wayne I am full of it. Always get a kick when someone comments, cheers, Robin.

Oh oh, where gunna be inundated with trains now, Wayne WA mate, what have you done! {sm4}

Awesome stuff Robin and what brand is the rolling stock and train tracks and where did you get them?

Tom

Thanks Wayne x 2. This train is a Western set with some of the carriages stripped down to their chassis to form flat cars, using paddle pop sticks as the bed. Cheers, Robin.

Off to war in South Africa, Cheers, Robin.

Robin mate,
Great use of the train set cobber. But I thought only big burly Perth Meat Workers played with Trains.^&grin^&grin If you trip to Melbourne this year and bring the GLW I shall have to talk her into letting you have a Man Cave. This storing your great collection in boxes is not on.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

Thanks Howard, planning a Melbourne trip when I know dates. Cannot see why Wayne has all the train fun so I dusted mine off to play as well. Cheers, Robin.

Love the use of the train Robin. {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}} Can I ask where you bought it?

Cheers

Martyn:)

Have a look at ebay auction 170975252853 Martyn. I painted the train Grey and removed the red and yellow carriages which click off their chassis and glued wooden paddle pop sticks to form a long flat car base from the yellow and a short flat car base from the red carriage. The scale is not too bad for the 1/30 figures, but would not to be any bigger, otherwise it would look wrong. It would be scale 'G' in the train world. Hope this helps, cheers, Robin.
