time on my hands at last (7 Viewers)

Robin...this should be a permanent display at your house...the "rippling water" mat...the large group of Palm trees...the WB boat mixed with the JJD and WB figures...this is a show piece diorama...it would look great in a permanent position on a display shelf...

Daily routine on board the Nile steamer. Robin. (ps thank you guys for your words of encouragement)

Nice pic's Robin and you'll have Marty (Jack) salvinating at his mouth over the nile steamer! The water mat also looks great and i gather you got it custom made for the steamer?

Tom

Good to hear from you Tom. Nothing clever about my set ups, just throw money at them. In this case JG Miniatures supply a custom mat for the steamer which really sets it off.{sm4}, Robin.

Good man! I knew you would have to get one sooner or later! {bravo}}

Great scene and photos as usual Robin and is that the Captain of the Titanic I see on board? fits in well doesn't he. {bravo}}

Said the other day after seeing your Nile diorama Jeff, I would have to drag mine out too. Yep the Titanic captain is aboard for his first commission on his way to bigger vessels, have to start somewhere.{sm4}, Robin.

Robin, you have a creative knack for getting the most out of your figs. Very clever, using the sailors to load crates. {bravo}} Very nice scene. Chris

Hi Robin,

I like the buildings, are they on a modular base so you can alter the layout?

Thanks Jeff, each base fits with another so cannot really be moved around, which is ok as the layout is balanced nicely anyway. 13 bases in all. Robin. Happy with it, but as I knew before getting it, probably better suited for 1/32 rather than 1/30, but still works ok.

Moving up. Robin.
