Beautiful dio Robin. Best back drop I have seen. That's an impressive collection of tents in the camp. Nicely photographed and laid out. Chris

Thanks Chris, your comments are appreciated knowing you do such great dio's yourself. Robin.

[QUOTE=Robin , just let you know that cotton wool is half price at coles next week , looks great mate , how s the shed coming along Graham

Very nice diorama and the back drops are very well done. You sister in law is very talented to capture the scene and keep the scale in tact. Adds a lot to the diorama. I. always love these big dioramas. As someone else said on the forum, go big or go home...:smile2: Chris

Mate i cant wait to see your shed (Hate the term man cave) a man has a shed,anyway mate im looking forward to your shed when its finished and the TS,s are out of storage and on display.
That "Steamer" is a beaut and you don't get to say that often about a Steamer......................^&grin

Agree Wayne, like the term 'shed' much better. I am sweating here despite the cold, as every new box arriving at the front door has no home. There is simply no room. Starting to get breakages due to poor storage. Knocked a box to the floor and busted up the V1 Figarti launch ramp, latest victim. Really happy with these new Heritage figures. Next scene will be the Blitz sort of what has happened to my home office.^&grin. Expect to see more of your Winter scenes given the weather{sm4}, Robin.

Another great scene Robin. The Heritage figs are a natural with this dio. I also have the steamer. Wish WB had not put the "water" under the paddle wheels. Who made the long boat? Chris

Thanks Chris. The water does not bother me, I guess it was a way the paddle wheels could be done given it was not possible to make them full circle. The long boat is from JJD, I think their battle of St. Francis series. The new K&C LOJ fishing boat would work well too. I especially like Heritage's mounted figures which have most. About time for another steamer scene from you.^&grin, Robin.

Awesome dio Robin and with items like the steamboat in your collection, you may have to consider an upstairs extension to your shed not long after it's built! {sm2}{sm4}

FANTASTIC DIO.....Those were my first words when I saw.....I am still digesting the multitude of details, the matching of the different manufacturers....Maison Militarie, Britains, K&C.....WOW...and the idea of matching the dockside with the steamer....I would only say....we could have some army personnel...:salute:::D a little khaki or red coats would enlighten the scenario even more......
Congrats!!!!!

One of many D-Day landings. Robin.

Robin, your latest scene is awesome, especially the Humber driving off the landing craft! I love that vehicle, can't wait for the Desert EA version!

Tom

Excellent dio Robin. I'm loving the combination of vehicles here; esp. the landing craft. They look great next to the pier.

Some locals praise the efforts of the Fire Fighters as they prepare for another night of bombing raids. Robin.
