time on my hands at last (2 Viewers)

Did Andy bring these down for you that was quick, great dio again matey, nice use of the old shed to.

I know you have the same building Wayne, thought I would use it in a different way, rather than the Hospital aspect as designed. Looking forward to now doing a Blitz scene using these fire fighters. The trucks are beauties. The upcoming RAF fire truck is going to be hard to resist. Have taken to carrying items around in the boot of my car, that's how bad storage has become.{eek3}, Robin.

I agree Wayne, built from scratch by my model maker. He has out done himself with this one. A little worried when he suggested he was so pleased with it, he was thinking of keeping it!!!!! I reminded him that he has 5 other projects going for me, so he laughed and handed it over in exchange for a fist full of dollars. Robin.

Lovely display! Do you know where he got the boiler and guns?

Cheers. The gun is scratch built. The boiler from a loco, comes from a $50 4 carriage battery train set. He bought 2 sets to scrap and convert to a German armoured train for me. Robin.

Thanks! I am in the process of finishing my epic 3.5' gunboat and am looking for finishing. Is the machine gun scratch-built too?

Yep, one on each side of the boat, removable. Nice little touches also, for instance the decking holding the horses detaches to reveal a coal storage area. There is a coal shovel, ropes, lifebuoys, ammo shells for the removable deck gun, anchor and gang plank. Next time I use it will be with JJD WW1 British. Robin.

Brilliant Robin love stuff like this great pick up mate,a big well done to your master modeler.
Do you reckon he would make me a 1/32 HE111..............^&grin^&grin

What a ripper of a steamer Robin and do you reckon your hard worked modeller can whip me up a stone arched bridge someday?
