Another massive beaut scene Robin and I bet customs double x-rayed the box that the Wasserfall came in! {sm2}{sm4}

Tom

Cool scene Robin. This has to be one of the best continuing threads, always excellent scenes.

Did your sister-in-law paint the backdrop?

Brad

Yep Brad. She is one cool artist, currently doing another backdrop for me which I hope will be ready soon as I have the vehicles/figures ready to go. These boards are so big, for the first time I can get setups all in without cropping.

Thanks everyone for your inspiration comments and 'likes' really makes it a pleasure to be on this forum despite steadily going broke{sm4}, Robin.

What a difference a day can make. Robin.

Wonderful progressive scenes Robin and poor bloody farmer, firstly the Jerries bomb his house, then they occupy it and finally they send him on a holiday that he won't enjoy! {sm2}

Love the animals, you and Wayne are becoming farmers in the miniature world as well!!! ^&grin

At last the materials arrive for the shed. Robin.

Is the Fritz in the wagon doing a 'KELLY' hoping one will notice him?, it's day-light and fine weather he has no chance.....:wink2:{sm3}
Wayne.

Good pickup Wayne, thought I might get away with it. Remembering this was a Civil War wagon, this driver has come a long way and is currently come over to assisting the enemy, anything to get out of the trenches it seems.^&grin. Yep the shed is almost standing and the concrete floor next week. With all the JJD WW1 figures I am interested in, the shed cannot come quick enough. Robin.

That steamer and supply tank look good together Robin! They also compliment that awesome dock that you got off Mr Womble.

Regarding the shed materials arriving, it doesn't appear to be much there mate! I thought you made amendments to the original plans and are going to add a second story to the structure! What with all the new Toy Soldiers, vehicles, buildings and boats that have arrived and are in the pipeline!!!! ^&grin

Tom

Tom, do not let on that Mr Womble supplied the wharf and whole heap of other stuff:rolleyes2:, we must not get anyone off side over this. Just getting hooked on JJD WW1 stuff at the moment, which is really good, not, as I have been saying I do not collect WW1 as the era is too drab. Next thing I will be collecting Napoleonic's another no no. The shed is going to be shared with my son who wants it to entertain his friends with a pool table etc, so I am thinking my area is going to be reduced to less than half the floor space. Really think now the best this is going to work out for me, is it will become a storage only and my sets ups will still be done in the house, but much easier to get at, which is fine. My books and dvd are more likely to be on display and my TS's all laid out so I can get to them easier. Best made plans hey. Perhaps in my next life.{sm4}. Robin.

Robin, now why would you say something lik that {sm2}. Napoleonics are so pretty compared to the drab WW1 stuff ... and there's more cavalry too {sm4}.

Nice to hear from you OD. Not collecting Napoleonic's is due only because of the massed figures, inc cavalry, artillery and firing lines, the cost to duplicate these is just too daunting, not to mention the space required to set out a decent battle scene. Agree the colour aspect is there, but my problem would be I would want hundred's of figures and therefore all my other series would have to take a back seat. Having said that I have weakened slightly dabbling with Hougoumont{sm4}{sm4}. Robin.
