Another winner Lt.

I believe I spotted a couple of figures from the Abandon the Hospital set;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

I love that Ambulance set. Just wish I had it! I'm content that they are in Joe's and Martyn's good hands:)
Mike

Lt,
If the Lancer's name is Frith, than the Zulu wins! I believe Lt. Frith was the only battle casualty death , and before uLundi to boot(I'm not positive)
Mike

My bad. CaptainEdmund Wyatt-Edgell was the other 17th Lancer KIA during the rout of uLundi.
Mike

Wow.
I see that Hobby Bunker had some Napoleonic sets listed on e bay. So I broke my own ( no e bay) rules and made a bid. For about 4 days I was the top bid. Suddenly in the last hour it went crazy and needless to say I was blown out of the water. It seems that Trophy sets are still demanding a good price on e bay.

- that's exactly what happens to me. These days if I'm the leading bid with 10 hours to go, I count it as a victory

Martyn I knew you'd spot the figures from the Abandon Hospital knowing that they are on the way to you. 1879 the ambulance set is also one of my favorites but none of the figures appearing up front and close are from the orginal set the wagons made the photos on it's own in the last group of photos. The following feature the set with a set making a special appearance and thanks for the info on the Captain of the 17th who also was killed......The Lt

Sorry Martyn I quickly glanced at your request and thought you were asking about the surgeon. The kit is from Conte which was provided with the plastic figure of surgeon Reynolds.....Joe

Lt.,
Many thanks for those photos...I think I'm correct in saying we all enjoy the camp and pre- post combat scenes from Trophy.

I'm awful lately... 17th lost a farrier Sergeant inside the square at Ulundi also:eek:. That makes a Lt. , a Capt. and a Sgt KIA....Good unit to be a private in:eek:

Lt.,
Nice set, always enjoy seeing the Trophy sets.

Lt.,
That one is a favorite. One of the small squares collapses against the onslaught of the left, then right horns of the buffalo. "Die like British soldiers!"
Great stuff:cool:
Mike

1879,

Here's another I hope you'll enjoy just as much as we're waiting for others to feature what they've been playing with and it includes you my Aide De Camp....The Lt.
