Another nice setup Joe;)

I know one of the 24th is from HZ 2 but could you tell me which set the other 24th with raised Martini-Henry is from?

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn he's from set HZ2A here he is aside of the figure from the older set HZ2 and I'm sure along with the pose you'll notice the base....The Lt.

Thanks again

Martyn

Does anyone have the paperboy figure on page 16 in issue #131 of Toy Soldier and Model Figure Magazine or know what set it is from?

Brian

Hi Brian

Haven't seen the magazine but Trophy did a single figure Paperboy Set#C27A

Hope this helps

Cheers

I'm sure by now that we're aware of the fact that Len Taylor featured the same figure in various poses and attire. Here's an example of such a figure. I repainted the fouth figure who was wearing a green jacket with blood stains on his head and sling. You'll also notice he has and brown bases vs the three whose bases are green an seems to be a little stockier........The Lt.

Thanks for the comparison shot Joe;)

I have the first figure in my set of TD4 "Incident at Isandlwana" but the pose changed again for TD4A with the Officer now brandishing a raised sword

Cheers

Maryn and if I'm not mistaken doesn't the figure with the raised sword look stockier? In the mean time had to rescue my aide de camp who had a pint or two to many.....The Lt.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You're right Joe the figure does look stockier, now make sure you put 1879 to bed, he shouldn't have had that last Ginger Beer Shandy;)

Cheers

Good ones guys! I'm hoping someone will reveal what I did and said at the regimental officer's mess last night! I remember landing a punch on Carey's chin for leaving the Prince Imperial to die, then the Lt.
calling for another round and then....blank:confused: Darned mealie beer!
#1879Reduced in rank for drunkiness

Did you not try and head butt Crealock for being such a cad and trying to blame Durnford for Chelmsford's mistakes.

Then you muttered something about all you colonials being cowards and cattle rustlers

Just went back in the thread and saw this posted by Damian.
It obviously depicts Wassel 80th Regiment earning his VC at Isandlwana.
What set# is this? Martyn got me onto the BD12 set in the rear, now I
see this beauty and think, when will it end?;)
