Trophy WW1 (16 Viewers)

Got to love those surprises that happen every once in awhile especially when they are trophy figures. Good for you louis

Public Service announcement: In the Treefrog Consignment Area there are the two Trophy WWI Russian Standard Bearers (rare pieces indeed!) for $85 each (less than I paid for them)! I am not the seller, and already have two of each, so go get them gentlemen!:salute::

I only got one of these. The other purchaser I know, so if it is not a duplicate, please hit me up so I can complete my set!!

By the way thanks Louis and Brian for the heads up on the Russian flag bearers. That was a long sought after piece. I left the other one for someone else and I am glad you got it tom. Now I just need the trooper with mule

God I hope not. He is good people. He knew of my interest in the LRDG and sent me a book about them. If you are out there, you are not forgotten.

There are many who either do not collect or do not participate anymore. The number of people who were here in the early years and still participate is probably very small.

Hey Louis there is a giant offering of ww1 Turks up on eBay for $3799.
It looks like it includes all the ones as well as the ones I need. I would jump on them but upon closer inspection they look alittle rough. Chips and scrapes and kinda looks like rougher touch up or maybe paint defects . When I first saw these I got excited and almost pulled the trigger before someone texted me to look closer at them. But who know , a little touch up maybe they would work for you. Good luck

Thanks for the heads up. I negotiated about 40% off the asking price and just bought them. 6 of the 12 Trophy WWI sets I needed in one purchase.

Here are the photos of the sets I obtained, an overview and photos of the camel corps:

GA12 Yaver Hayri Pasha Senior Ottoman Turkish Officer
GA13 Ottoman Turkish Standard Bearer of the Escort
GA14 Ottoman Turckish Bugler of the Escort

I also picked up this Trophy Casualty figure, only available through the Motor Ambulance Set (one of two Western Front sets I have not yet found):
