Trophy - zulu war sets (1 Viewer)

Got you playing in your office my Aide De Camp featuring a very nice background photo to show off FT. Martyn it wouldn't surprise me if another INDUNA makes an appearance posed differently. In the mean time here's a figure I have only manning the wall from set HZ11 he wearing a beard and a tan service helmet...........The Lt.

About a year or so ago there was still talk of Trophy's return. The Maison Militaire website is down so I don't know what the current status is. Anyone knows more? Perhaps his email?

Look what turned up today, at the bottom of the Toy Box, well actually in a pile of boxes:D

Beautiful oxen. Special set as in limited?

Excellent Martyn as is the horse drawn version. Now you don't need 2 so please feel free to post one over here. I am sure the troops will love the hot sunny climes. They would be a great help at quenching the thirst of my 24Th Foot battalion. :D :D :D

Thank you Joachim, this was painted as a special, I'm not sure if there was a "catalogue" Oxen Drawn Water Cart in the AZW series but there was in the BOER WAR series. I'll post a picture of the BOER WAR version in a day or two

Cheers

Hi Scott, glad you like the sets but I'm afraid, due to quarantine restrictions, I am unable to send Oxen to Canada, Foot and Mouth don't you know:D:D:D

Martyn, Thanks for sharing your great finds with us. Though I will admit to being somewhat envious.:D

Martyn,
I'm going from pure joy to rapid depression! I can't stand it that you have found these special sets.;) I'm at Fort Funk at the moment....
Was this set just picked up at the show, or did you have it for awhile?
Amazing stuff!
Mike

That is a cool set. The original EQ38 was an oxen drawn wagon with some 24 foot skiving off in the back.
I enjoyed teh 21 st Lancers as well. I see that the horses were all new sculpts.

Mike

I've had this one for a while, it had been lurking at the back of the Toy Room, I made a point of finding it when I went looking for the other Water Carts
