What a splendid set! Transvaal Burghers!?!?! Soon to lose his son to the fight, Piet was a true Boer and a hero to the Orange and Transvaal.

The horses are from TD3 - Patrol Under Attack. The original TD3 comprised 1 Officer and 2 Troopers Natal Mounted Police but being a bit of a pig;) I asked Len to include an extra Trooper and horse hence my set has four men and four horses. I am very pleased the way my new Boer figures seem to work in this scenario.

I should have known...the Boers would never have had blue saddle blankets, only a more drab Kommando colour!

Had a hunch it wouldn't be very long before you had your Boer's at play. Liked the way you used the two horses an I'll bye the hand me downs on the blankets. Nice way to enjoy my afternoon coffee seeing you at play.....Joe
