US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran (3 Viewers)

I think it is pretty conclusive the Iranians were planning assassinations of Trump. There are a number of bad guys in the world so to speak, but I think Iran may well be the worst of the worst right now.

And the POTUS is protected by what turned out to be a Keystone Cop like Secret Service.

“The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money,” he wrote on Truth Social.

can anyone tell me who is "we"?

I don't understand this comment...I'm not making a lot of $$$ cause gas prices are going up...

is the US making a lot of money over gas prices going up?

I'm thinking Exxon...Chevron...Conoco...or other "Big Oil" industry giants are making a lot of money...but who else...

that's not helping me...what does he mean by "we"?

my portfolio is getting crushed...

Beats me on that other than I think and I mean I think it is talking about the Treasury Balance Sheet and reserves and the oil we produce that is actually sold. If we sell a barrel at market, then the Treasury Balance sheet grows.

One thing about portfolios right now and most investors have short memories. I am only 52, but I can tell you in my 35 years of investment experience, I can point to at least once a decade a crisis that sets my portfolio back. Fortunately, I am not using the money right now, so I have time to wait. That said, I also see the other side b/c in my College Portfolio when my son was entering college was the Covid Crash. After 3 years (his college, I got lucky, he did it in 3), it ended up being working out to a 5% hit, in other words, he saved me by graduating in 3, my portfolio paid for all of about 5%. Now pre COVID, it would have been fully covered had not had the hit.

Long story short, the market only ever becomes worrisome when you have a current need for the money. It is also the other reason that as you age, you need an advisor who is active. In other words, you need to move more to fixed/guaranteed income funds/investments as the years go by. It will eliminate the dips and their adverse effects on your portfolio.

Interesting how one of Iran’s largest neighbours, Pakistan, has so far avoided any missile attacks, especially considering its US connections…..

The US has paid trillions for decades to defend Europe and many Pacific countries and they do nothing. It's time to cut bait and let them fend for themselves. Sadly that will never happen because US politicians are invested in spending money to defend the world while they turn their back on us and civilization. Sadly that is world that we live in.

It would be great if that spending was put to good use in the US, but it probably won’t.

Thanks to a terrible political system the vast majority of those funds would be wasted on partisan projects that in the end do not benefit anyone but the politicians who spend it.

Ultimately, I guess it is better to see that money wasted on Americans.

Never got into Lord of the Rings.

Or Star Wars either for that matter.

Neither are my cup of tea.

Iran, with Russia & Chinese backing is crushing the GCC alliance and in turn exposing NATO for all it failings….the Russian invasion of the Ukraine invasion should have been the wake up call for Europe, but instead they relied on the US to sort out their backyard.

Appeasement doesn’t work and never will….

I'll take your word for it.
Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings are among the few things that me and my Two 'liberal' sons still have in common, we get a lot of joy out of sharing that passion, but I can understand why some people don't like Sci Fi and Fantasy stuff.

It's an acquired taste, just like my affinity for horror movies and war movies, I am sure there are people who scoff at the fact that I saw SPR about a dozen times at the theatre.

No movie, as in none, affected me like that movie did, the first time I watched it, I was literally spent emotionally after viewing it, I felt like I had gone 12 rounds with Mike Tyson.

I walked out of the theatre almost in a state of shock; can't think of another movie that impacted me like that before or since.

If nothing else, the conflict thus far has exposed Iran's offensive capacity, obviously supported by China and Russia......however lets not be fooled, this is ultimately a religious war.

Iran's been behind some of the most hideous terrorist attacks across the west since 1979, yet western MSM dismiss these assaults, instead choosing to focus hell-bent on pushing the anti Trump rhetoric, completely missing the elephant in the room.

I'm no Trump fan, however the bloke has balls, unlike the rest of most NATO members, who have happily invited the Islamic enemy into their nations and still wonder why western society is so divided.

Islam is not a peaceful religion and is taking full advantage of the west, based upon their Taqiyya doctrine & practices......

Yes, it's religious fanatics still fighting the crusades

Follow the money..........................as one of my investments has tanked so badly it's now below principal, yesterday my financial advisor mentioned something about Trump is indebted to some bigtime donors of his, had no idea what she was on about.

But now..............makes perfect sense.

I'm sure my egghead Penn graduate far right loon cousin will explain all of this away; this explanation ought to be a gem.
