The reports on both CNN and FOX indicate that Iran had a list of 10 requests/concessions and Trump indicated it was a good starting point for negotiations, so he called off the strikes, not sure what you wanted him to do, go ahead with them anyway to prove he was serious?

THEY CAME TO HIM, so he called off the attack, it had nothing to do with the 25th amendment or impeachment or him realizing he doesn't have the support he thought

you’re asking me what I wanted him to do…please no…I have no idea…he got himself into this mess…I don’t have a clue how to get him out… a lot of people on here are suggesting to just drop a bunch of bombs on them and let God sort them out… maybe they could give you better guidance than me … I have none…sorry…

But you could be right…maybe Iran thought the fifth time was for real…so they might be scrambling frantically to work things out…now that they know they only got two more weeks until their annihilation and the end of their civilization might start up again?

The Thanksgiving turkey probably won’t get pardoned again… better jump on this 6th chance if they know what’s good for them…

Or maybe Trump realized that bombing them wasn't such a good idea after all and just called the whole thing off himself giving Iran another two weeks…and buying himself a little more time to get out of this mess and save face…

But I’m sticking with threat of an impeachment or the 25th amendment or his political support declining…or committing political suicide on the November elections…

though Iran is supposedly begging to make a deal according to him…just like China did on the tariffs

Yes, but I’d like to think there is a difference between the US and a repressive regime like Iran.

Using the same type of language appears to have had the effect on the Iranians of getting them to the table, though since they've come with the same demands, it'll be a surprise if they're still talking in two weeks.

Still, getting ships through will help many countries now in dire straits if the flow is allowed, but if still being menaced or having to pay extortion, won't work for long.
