Walking Dead (WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS) (1 Viewer)

You should take the time if possible. It is character development at its finest over the course of the whole series.

Yeah you 100% should; I binge watched it, it's an incredible series with a great ending, which is usually not the case with a long running series.

The ending was superb, no BS, no waffling. A series I was sorry to see end. Never have gotten into Better Call Saul. -- Al

I have mixed feelings on the ending. Which I won’t discuss it as it may spoil someone’s viewing.
That being said it’s not liked they faded to back over a song...still the worst..

I disliked the character Saul on BB but have grown to really like Better Call.
it is a fun series.

Yep, that ending to The Sopranos bit the big one. -- Al

Did everyone know that a prequel movie of The Sopranos will be on HBO Max and at the theaters on October 1st. Gandofini's son is in it.

Arguably the greatest TV series ever with without a doubt the worst ending of all time.

Seinfeld was not much better, but come on, don't get cute on the ending, just foolish for a great series to end like that.

The comical thing is myself and millions of other people at the end of the Sopranos thought their TV crapped out or the DVR feature went haywire.

The trailer looks interesting but I'm not a fan of Ray Liotta for some reason. He's been in some good movies but also plenty of low budget, awful movies. Kind of like Samuel Jackson.

In terms of the Walking Dead this season, it is boring me to tears. Not much movement of the story lines. I fast forward through most of it. The guys in the Stars Wars outfits are laughable.

I can't stand Princess and a few others. They killed off too many main characters.

Agree. Negan, Darryl and Carol remain as the only interesting characters, and the Darryl and Carol line is getting old, at that. Hanging around to see if Maggie and Negan get married and ride off into the sunset... -- Al

I like Negan but Maggie is a real downer with all her pouting. Darryl's brooding Clint Eastwood impression has worn out. He was great as a secondary character but not interesting enough to carry the show. And nothing seems to be happening. They walk here and there. Kill a zombie or two. Walk somewhere else. Repeat over and over. They seem to have run out of ideas. Why doesn't anyone drive anymore on the show? It's like watching Robin Hood. The cars would not disappear.

Interesting about the cars. As you go deeper into the apocalypse, fuel would be harder to find and would tend to break down, becoming contaminated. Cars would wear out, matching parts harder to find and replace and rubber parts would also deteriorate, plus the challenge of finding a suitable mechanic that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Tires also would be a problem as deterioration like dry rot sets in. It's foreseeable that operable cars would become few and far between until there are no running ones left. Horses would once again rule the land. -- Al

I taped the last episode and then watched the entire thing in FF. It was unbearable. Boring and repetitious. Nothing is happening. Just random events and contrived situations. The end can't come soon enough for this series.

Can't imagine how they will wrap this series up. No happy ending is possible, maybe they go in the opposite direction and slaughter everyone. Perhaps Negan reverts to form...:wink2: -- Al

I'm sort of liking this last season. Maybe it is just the fact that it is wrapping up after all these years. Keep waiting for everyone to die. They are still beating to death many of the same tired themes, but at least there is some action. Those silly star wars-like outfits are a distraction. Can't imagine anyone thought that was a good idea. Where would you get something like after the apocalypse? A Star Wars convention? They are mostly avoiding the endless "speechifying" that made the show so tiresome. Glenn and Rick were the worst.

This season is ok except for those goofy outfits. There are suppose to be 5 spinoffs{eek3}.I know one is about Darrell and Carol and another with Maggie and Negan{eek3} so we know these characters don't die.Don't know where Rick 's movies are.

I was a diehard fan of this show, they lost me last season and I stopped watching, it got too goofy and confusing with all the spin off groups................hard to believe I invested so much time into this and then bailed the last season, but it is what it is.

I just watch the 6 individual episodes, Tales of the Walking Dead. The quality has really went down from what is was. And as for the original show we know Darryl, Carol, Negan, Rick ,Michonne and Maggie are alive at the end because they all have their own shows. When they first started the show you never knew who was going to live or die. Now you know there are some untouchables and I think that takes some of the appeal away.
