What is the most ugliest WW2 TANK.(Just for fun) (1 Viewer)

Yep I agree here, Germans were the bad guys (to put it mildly) so interest is always going to be limited, but they made some superb fighting machines. In recent years allied and especially British armour has come to the fore in TS production with K&C and Figarti producing some superb items, I have high hopes for more very soon from K&C:smile2:

Well said Tom, the Churchill is ugly but the Cromwell not so in my view.

Yep we made very ugly Tanks, but on the flip side we did produce THE single most beautiful fighter aircraft of them all:wink2:

I don't think so Rob the SPIT IMO is fugly,now if you want beauty go for a 190 or a STUKA,mate the sexiest beast of all was the Lancaster a true classic would kill for one in my collection.
But back to tanks it looks like you Brits are winning this war as well................................^&grin

Hilarious and nice try mate! The Stuka is wthout doubt the ugliest plane the Germans produced and the Fw190 is a nice looking plane but just doesn't compare to the sleek graceful lines and curved wings of the Spit mate, not for nothing is it the most famous fighter of all time^&cool{bravo}}

Guys, I just googled images of the Australian Sentinel Tank and I don't think its anywhere near as ugly as the KV2, but what in gods name is up with that thing sticking out from what looks like the machine gun port!!{eek3}{eek3}^&grin This is a family forum so I better not post a pic, but it looks positively obscene!{eek3}

Rob

In Australian slang we call a machine gun port that looks like that 'a jack'.

Regards

Jack

I bow to the greater knowledge of Jack :rolleyes2: but I thought in Aussie slang a 'Jack' was a colonial mounted police trooper, but I stand to be corrected.

Interesting as some have mentioned the Cromwell tank, but I bought one last month as I found it an appealing looking tank {sm2}

I agree, not ugly at all, or so ugly they are appealing. I cannot recall the exact model #'s, but some of the WW2 Italian tanks are hideous looking.

Quite simple it has to be the Bob semple tank!! It has to be the ugliest thing ever put on tracks. It looks like some garden or allotment shed thats been badly made by someone using their feet to build.

I would like to nominate the French Somua t35 - as a contender for the prize.
Here's one - captured by the germans and pressed into service around 1942. Too tall - it would have been a tempting target. jb

Many have agreed that the Russian KV-1 tank was ugly and the KV-2 was even worse but on further consideration I think the ugliest tank of WWII was the Matilda MkI:
