Mirof,
Those are some real fine sets! are they the Forward March from Corgi? I don't think I've seen them before? did you touch them up?
SWEET!
A few more pics...
Yes, its a big project that I'm doing for Luiz, but enjoyable for both of us
For the technical info, the soldiers are kits by Scale Link, of WW1 French Infantry with kepi and helmets replaced with Legionnaire's hats.
The machine gun set on the diorama base is a Mountford kit with Scale Link head 'transplant' and the mules are also Mountford.
The machine gun loaded onto the mule is Scale Link, but I'm unsure of the make of the mountain gun.
This months I will be completing a firing line with standing firing, loading and kneeling firing and loading and another officer which will make about 32? figures in all.
I hope then that Luiz will set them all up in one of his desert dioramas that he does so well, as I'd like to see all of my work in one setup.

And excellent conversions they are too, John. Only goes to show what CAN be done with a bit of lateral thinking (well done Luiz) - and the touch of an expert convertor and painter.
Well done - both. They are a treat to behold. johnnybach.
And for guys who likes the french legion
