I enjoy hearing from all the manufactures (Andy, Brian, Matt etc) on Treefrog because it gives us collectors a unique look at the industry from a different perspective. It can provide for valuable info on pieces, future trends, past experiences etc. Most industry's don't allow for that type of immediacy to the ear of the CEO's and for that we are priviledged.
Treefrog has conduct rules however and everyone needs to abide by them, no exceptions! :salute::
I was listening to sports radio the other day and they were talking about how professional athletes use Twitter to talk to fans and many are using it inappropriately and are being baited by fans into nastly little discussions. The sports radio personalities have stated that these athletes have been trained on how to deal with the media but perhaps not "social media". Perhaps the heads of our favourite toy soldier companies need to learn that engaging with their customers on this forum in a combatitive way (as the athletes are doing) is a road they cannot win and generally spurs on even more animosity and ill will towards them and their companies. Maybe "social media" training is something many of us could use! :wink2:

don't think its down to meaningless stupid PC. this is a private forum ran with the rules of the owners who have a vision for the way in which they wish to have their forum seen. Not a fan of PC and have struggled with some of the forum rules myself but, the other option is to look for other forums where its allowed and, thats not an option!!!

Also, its mentioned and been pushed here in this thread to keep away from the real question of why andy had posts moved but, this nonsense about national humour needs to be given a rest really as it has nothing to do with anything IMO rudeness is rudeness plain and simple. It may be that it can be disguised through internet forums like this as humour or, the new mature innuendo attacks on people but, its still rudeness and childish.

The crux of the matter and its being avoided by the antipodeans on here was that andy posted a thread which, a member found the terminology to be offensive and, then could not let it lye. posting another thread which, was more mocking and, then a third as that was deleted. Thats why he was censored pure and simple. The rest is just a smoke screen to show support as always when things like this happen.
