My personal opinion is that we are all unwitting pawns in a vast conspiracy to destroy the toy soldier hobby in order to benefit the action figure industry. Starting in the 1960s, action figure producers such as GI Joe and Dragon have been in conflict with ever-increasing numbers of collectors who choose cheaper, more displayable toy soldiers over larger 1:12 scale action figures.
With the arrival of companies such as King & Country, Britains, and Conte onto the metal miniatures scene, the action figure cabal realized their grip on the military collector's industry was slipping. Using their billions of dollars in revenue from fronts such as OPEC, Haliburton, and Taco Bell, the conspirators decided to shut down the toy soldier industry once and for all.
After engineering a stock market crash by paying off President Clinton to encourage banks to make horrible lending decisions, they twisted President Bush and President Obama into paying Dragon and GI Joe trillions of dollars in bailouts. King & Country, and the other metal figure manufacturers did not receive a single cent...
But still, the metal figure industry continued to thrive. The cabal's next step was to threaten the United Nations that they would deliver North Korea hundreds of 1:12 scale nuclear warheads unless they launched "investigations" into the factories in China, and paying off various world leaders to raise minimum wages. They hoped this would cause the cost of toy soldiers to skyrocket, making collectors choose action figures instead.
This appears to be working, at least to an extent. But what the action figure cabal needed to silence were the various forums where collectors bickered, complained, and discussed their favorite hobby with the owner of King & Country, the one and only Andy Neilson. Realizing they needed to silence these unnamed forums, they posed as Russian hackers and took over the sites, censoring or deleting any conversations that provided enjoyable rancorous donnybrooks.
The Truth is Out There.
