I started a new diorama. The walls , bridge and gate are all scratch built. Adding detail now to the background wall. The positions of the men in this diorama are already marked. Now I will start to work on the vegetation and the road. Will finish by adding some resin water running in the small ditch in front of the wall.

Your rock wall looks excellent.
How did you build it ?
[/QUOte

A plaster wall and then engraved ( mould I took from wall I used ages ago)
The arch is a left over from another building I made .
The wooden gate is made in balsa wood 2mm thick . The lamp and the bell are from a ship my father made when I was a 14year old boy.
The bridge is made of cat litter
I worked on the dio yesterday afternoon , will show the result later today

another couple of hours spent working on my Normandy diorama.
Two more figures added. A member of the "Filthy Thirteen" and one 82nd Para. Do I keep the figures as they are or do I change all of them in men of the 101st?
What would you do knowing that some paras were dropped more than 40km from their drop zones . Paratroopers from both airborne divisions were mixed on the ground and the command of these teams became a matter of rank and charisma. The filthy thirteen completely missed their drop zone and got mixed up with paras from other divisions.
Your comments are very welcome

Leave them as they are, honour both units.
