Yeomanry Miniatures (1 Viewer)

Hi Louis

Glad you liked the new model. I have only seen the pictures posted by Trooper so far but if you would like to send your details to "yeomanryminiatures@virginmedia.com" I will be more than happy to let you have the first painted production model with a certificate to verify that it is the first car produced!

Hi Brian,
Will you be considering launching a Western Front version, with the car painted green and the crew with tin helmets? Let me know....for WW1 my main focus is the European battle field.
Regards,
Artillery_crazy ( Luiz Fleury )

Hi Louis,
That is a great idea and your Middle East " 18 pdr and garrison" with a very nice Ford Model T scout car like the one Yeomanry Miniatures is about to launch will be a great diorama...do not forget to add to the set your Rolls Armoured Cars.....If I am not mistaken you have a couple with Middle East body painting.

Artillery_Crazy

Yes, I've got a couple of desert Rolls Royce Armored Cars, and they will join the scene as well. Great suggestion!:smile2:

Hi Luiz

Anything's possible, watch this space.

Here is a very nice Boer War Machinegun Garrison made by Yeomanry Miniatures....I am looking forward to more sets coming soon......The mounted and standing officers come from the MKL Series and the charging trooper from Trophy.

I thought it was time to post something a little more colourful. So for those out there that like marching bands I give you the Band of the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards 1922 - 1993.

Regards to all,

I thought you might like to know that Yeomanry Miniatures now have their 1904 Rolls Royce Staff Car in production. There will be a few at the London Toy Soldier Show on 25th June and orders can be placed now.

The car and occupants comprising of Driver, 2 Staff Officers and a General Officer retails at £119.95 painted and £69.95 as a kit of parts, for all of you who prefer to do your own thing.

I enclose some pictures of the finished article.

See you at the show.

Here I go again! I am posting some pictures of the Cavalry Maxim Machine Gun produced by Yeomanry Miniatures. This gun was used by both the Cavalry and Yeomanry Cavalry and even some Mounted Infantry units. I hope they are of interest.

Hello Yeoman,

I just received my catalogue listing. Looking forward to reviewing and placing my first order. Thanks.

Hello Wolf,

There is a Yeomanry Miniatures listing giving the full range of figures produced. At the present time I do not have a colour catalogue but rest assured I am working on it. If you would care to e-mail your address to:- yeomanryminiatures@virginmedia.com I will send you a copy of the listing.

It is my intention to post pictures of Yeomanry Miniatures products every seven to ten days until I run out of pictures so stay tuned to this thread.

Regards
Yeoman.

Question for Yeomanry fans. While researching for the WW1 TAW style vehicles we came across this item. It was a one off experimental item commissioned by the Admiralty which was tested but never put into production. It is so offbeat that it practically screams out to be made but obviously has to be profitable to consider being produced. And here is the question, is there sufficient demand for a one off experimental vehicle? Or should we shelve it and produce other items that were in more general use? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Trooper

I would buy it, but I would rather you shelve it and make a vehicle that actually saw action.:wink2:

I would prefer to get and display vehicles that were actually in use.

Does nothing for me, sorry

Gentlemen, thank you for your comments. The general feeling is obviously to shelve the idea so consider it shelved. Although we won't rule it out completely. Maybe one day. In the meantime your help had been invaluable, once again many thanks. Pre production photos of the next offering will be posted in the next few days. Trooper

Hi Trooper,

I second the others, I would prefer to add actual vehicles, than to place an order on a prototype.

This venue is more of a project for those of us that love a scratchbuild exercise......Scalelink has some vehicles that can be the backbone for that.

OK, latest pre production photos from Yeomanry. This is a Ford Model T railcar, used on the Western Front. The kit can be assembled to either show the rail version or the road. There are photgraphs showing both configurations. The railway track will be incorporated into a scenic base for the finished model. Appropriate wagons will be added at a later date. Brian will announce the prices in due course. Trooper

I'm in for one fully painted, on the tracks.:wink2:

Alan,
You can count me for this prototype... I love oddballs: the stranger the better^&grin ... the Germans used similar self-propelled vehicle during WW1...historical accuracy could be very vague subject in TS collecting field...for example majority of the gunboats models made never came even close to the actual GBs participated in Sudan war... but people love buying them ....maybe they do not know...a perception is reality, I guess ^&grin

Count me in too, I love this type of stuff too. If it was tested but never actually used, that's ok, it is still a valid model!

Hi Tom,

Trooper and Yeomanry have a perfect example of the Ford Model T narrow gauge car., congrats to both....During the weekend I will look up my reference books and scan some pages with info on the version used at the front to share with everyone.....All we now need is a narrow gauge locomotive and some rolling stock and we are in for a total new venue of WW1 front supply system......
