More WW1 and Boer War Pics............View attachment 75601View attachment 75602View attachment 75603View attachment 75604View attachment 75605
Great pics. Luiz.
I don't want to pick a favorite out of all of them.
Just going for what trooper and yeoman are going to select for future releases.
It's easy for me to say :wink2:, since I just am getting in the WWI era.
Any vehicle coming up will be appreciated.
Konrad
P.S. Well, if I really had to pick one that I want to get, it would be this one pictured.
Hi Luiz

Can I ask, are there any pictures of an Armoured Train, if a manufacturer produced one I would buy it in a heart beat
Cheers

Hi Martyn,
I will check by books and see if one exists.....Not sure, for armoured trains have not been my focus! But will check my Boer and Artillery reference books if one shows up by luck.

Luiz

Hi Guys,
I was reviewing this thread and realised I hadn't captioned the pictures of the Cavalry Maxim Gun, so here goes!
1) Maxim Gun of the 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queen's Bays) 1890. The crew are dressed in their "undress Uniform" sometimes referred to as the Alternate Full Dress.
2)Cavalry Maxim Gun on Campaign. The crew are dressed for Boer War service or service in India.
3) Cavalry Maxim Gun of the Sussex Yeomanry 1902 - 1908. Note the blue embellishments to their Service Dress.
Very nice Brian, especially these two {bravo}}
Picture 3) British Lancer in Service Dress - Boer War or North West Frontier.
Picture 4) 21st Lancer in Service Dress - Sudan.Cheers

I thought you might like to know that Yeomanry Miniatures now have their 1904 Rolls Royce Staff Car in production. There will be a few at the London Toy Soldier Show on 25th June and orders can be placed now.
The car and occupants comprising of Driver, 2 Staff Officers and a General Officer retails at £119.95 painted and £69.95 as a kit of parts, for all of you who prefer to do your own thing.
I enclose some pictures of the finished article.
See you at the show.

Hi Guys,
With the interest being generated on the figures painted by John Firth thread I am posting pictures of the figures included in the R.A.F. Series. These are part of my Display Series which is a series of figures aimed at the modeller who likes to paint their own figures. However I can arrange to have them painted in either Toy Style or Connoisseur Style or you can have them painted by your own painter. The Series currently cosists of RAF-01: Pilot 1939-45, RAF-02 Intelligence Officer taking notes and RAF-03 W.A.A.F. Saluting.
Next year there will be some W.W.1 figures being released. These will include an Observer in Flying Suit, a female R.F.C. Officer and a Mechanic working on a Rotorary Engine. In the World at War Range a Crossley Lorry will shortly be released depicting three R.F.C. types manhandling a Rotorary Engine into the back of the lorry.

Hi Brian,
Any chance of us knowing if a Mark IV Medium tank, Inter war period, and the above related Crossley Lorry coming out.....but this time in War Department style.
As soon as you have the maxim / pom pom sets ready, add pics so that all our friends in the site can see them......
Regards,
Luiz
Hi Luiz
It is hoped to have examples of the Vickers Mk IV and Mk VI Light Tanks and the Crossley Lorry at the London Show on 3rd December. All are currently being worked on by both Alan and Dave as we speak and all of us are aware that time is short. I am considering a medium tank but this will be a project for either next year or the year after as there are more pressing vehicles to be made first.
It is my intention to post pictures of all the new sets, as they are produced, on Treefrog as well as more pictures of existing sets and figures on a semi regular basis. I shall be casting on Monday, weather permitting, to produce items for orders and the show, all of which will be photographed upon completion and posted.
Regards
Yeoman
Hi Brian,
Great news.....let us know more of all these fantastic vehicles, any prototypes? that you, Alan and Dave are " cooking".....Coming from you three, can only mean great stuff.....
Regards,
Luiz
