Louis, is it my failing senior memory or did you change the color of your house. I seem to remember it was white. Love the natural habitat on your doorstep.

Joe, it was never white, except for the trim. When we moved in it was barn red, and about 7 years ago we had it painted historic Whipple Blue with Hale Navy Shutters.

About the habitat, today when I got home with my son Alec, we heard what we thought was a dog screaming in pain. We ran across the street and found 4 foxes, 3 males and one female, and the screaming was because the female was in heat, and we interrupted one of the males mating with her! Here are some photos we just took:

Installing the Pedal and Grips tonight.^&cool Hope to buy a steel plate rear bumper with d-rings today . . . :salute::

Installed the dead pedal and the grips. I bought the rear bumper, which like the front is 1/4 inch sheet steel, with 2 d-rings. Am installing the rear bumper, light bar and decals when Dan is available next week. With luck, might have new rims and mud terrain tires tomorrow!😎😎

Here are some shots of the dead pedal and handgrips we installed (well Morgan installed while I handed him tools and held the light) and one of the rims and tires that are going on Black Beauty, maybe as soon as this afternoon . . . ^&cool

So, is it really going to go off road and do a lot of nasty stuff?

New York State does a licensing course for using their off-road facilities every June at Bear Mountain. I am thinking about taking it, with my son Alec as a passenger, and then doing some off-roading.:smile2:

Sounds fun.

If you look in the background of this photo, you will see my friend Dan's totally customized Grand Cherokee. He goes off-roading all the time, and loves it:

I don't like four wheeling. Its stressful as I do not like to get stuck and it requires a certain amount of skill. The less talented create holes in the road and make its harder for stock trucks like mine, which reminds me to get an entrenching tool.
