Zach's Collection (4 Viewers)

This piece is simply a stunner to me. This is the first, in hopefully a long line of Israeli War for Independence (1948) pieces from Bruce Murray and Matin Tabony's Ready for Action Company. This is such an overlooked period of history by toy soldier companies that will lend itself to some great items. Right now it only consists of two versions of this Jeep (I'll be adding the second one soon), but I am told that some infantry figures are on the "sculpting block"!

These I simply bought because I HAD TO! I saw them and they just cracked me up. My feeling was that if I ever came back as a green army man, I'd be sculpted like one of these (probably the one sleeping!). I don't know anything about them, but they are Tomy T-Arts Panda's Fat Little Green Army Men

Next on the hit parade is John Jenkins Two Little Indian Boys from The Raid on St. Francis series

I only collect the non combatant Indians in this series and I love them all. these two rowdy boys really add some life to my woodland Indian diorama. you can just hear their mother in the background yelling at them to knock off whatever they are doing!

These next figures i blame Tom Dubel for!!!!

I was speaking to him about a US Marine with dog that he was selling on ebay while we were at the Valley Forge Show. he kindly informed me that they are still being made. I thought they were all retired...so with that news...I got THEM ALL! I am out of control and it's Tom's fault! ;)

So, these are all of the Martin Richie figures in the military mascot series. I am just going to post them, but if you wish to know what a specific one is, please let me know and I'll tell you.

Next up will be a bunch of older K&C Streets of Hong Kong but I'm tired now (like I said, I'd be the fat green guy sleeping! {sm4} )

yup...and have them repainted every January from all the chips in the paint from knocking into each other! ^&grin

I collect what I like. No rhyme or reason at all. The big problem with this method is.....I LIKE WAY TOO MUCH!

Well, I still don't know how these were originally packaged, so don't know what sets I have, but I finally got around to taking pictures of the PLA figures. I was so thrilled when I was offered these. I lost out on them at an auction a few years ago. So, here they are.....

I blame Pat Wade for this purchase! {sm4} He's shared so many photos of his Delhi Durbar figures with me, that I just fell in love with them and had to have some of my own. This one is The Maharaja of Rewa's Baby Elephant, Delhi Durbar 1903 Beau Geste BG114
The momma elephant is being made and will arrive soon to keep the little one company!
