Le Parisien from Sineus Studio in Russia

La Parisienne ( she is a woman )
Le Parisien would be ... ambiguous ....

:salute::

I'm sure you will forgive us who are not fluent in la langue française.

Only flags I have are fake - US Colonial, Union Jack, Israel, and Imperial Russia are the only ones I have
When I was a kid, I was at the UN and bought those mini flags of almost every country! I have no idea where they are now

Panzer gave me and Louis each a flag that flew over US Army HQ in Iraq. It's quite special.

A few more that have been laying around waiting to be photographed.
These are some of the new FL Romans, Britains "A Cup of Coffee" and Old Northwest "Game of Bones" (with one Britains figure with them)

My goodness, they don't even have flags............ that could open up a whole can of worms............

The History of Richard III and Edward IV has always been a favorite of mine since I read the Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman, as a teen (HIGHLY recommended for anyone interested in the period. It's "fiction, but Penman is famous for her research and takes the time at the end of the book to tell the reader where, if all, she strayed from documented history). I was so glad when John decided to start making this line. Today I received two Yorkish knights and Richard "The Man" III, himself!

It was a good day...In addition to the Bosworth figures, I also got the two Winged Hussars from First Legion. Holy smokes are these things nice! As many of you know, I collect a lot of Russian figures so my expectations were veryhugh for these after seeing the release photos. I could not be happier - they are simply superb both in sculpt and painting. If these at all interest you, BUY THEM NOW! You will not be disappointed! I promise!
The first photos are the FL figures and the other two are some Russians I have. I just post for comparison to show how great the FL ones are at a fraction of the price! The first is an Aeroart figure and the second a small vignette from Medallion Miniatures.

Some more...

I don't even know what this is. Saw them on Ebay and they were cheap. I figured they'd be good figures for some dioramas (the man is EK Castings)

Wm. Britains Queen Elizabeth series. From Princess to current. I love "timeline" figures - just like Blackhawk's Life of Napoleon.

This is a real weird one. He is listed as WWI German Rabbi! Not something you see often. If anyone knows anything about this guy, please let me know!

Nicholas II, Alexi and Alexandra. These are finished in some antiquing finish. I am hoping it strips off and I can paint them/get them painted. Not sure how easy it will be to remove it, but going to give it a whirl with some Super Clean and hope for the best.

Is it? If it was not for his prominent beard I would suggest it might be a portrait figure of Aron Tänzer a rather famous scientist who served in the German Army during WWI as well as the other 100000 Germans of the jewish comunity.

Those are great figures Zach, I will check into the Penman book, I'm currently reading Conn Iggulden's series on the War of the Roses, 4 book series, just finishing the 2nd now, really well done, amazing the back and forths of English civil war between the Lancaster and York over decades and generations.

That "man" is interesting...could be used in many settings.

Thank you for posting.

I use paint stripper on these type of Russian made figures, then wash it off while scrubbing with an old tooth brush.

That works fine :)

The Romanovs look like they've been given a once over by the Bolshies.
